Now we've come full circle. Thanks friend, I needed a giggle.
what's really funny is i gave you a falsifiable claim initially and all you've done is just pretend like you're right instead of proving me wrong.

The proof is in the puddin' as they say. Your car on the street, is not as fast as you think it is, or told AI that it is. In the real world, cars with AWD and a similar power to weight ratio will beat you, and there are many of them.

12.9 is fast, for the slow group

Whether something is ‘fast’ is a percentile question, not a vibe check.

If your definition of fast is personal rather than comparative, that’s fine, but it’s not a technical argument.

Welcome to the forum, all most of the users here do is look for the slightest debatable thing you say to argue to the death and derail good threads. Probably why everyone worth a crap has left. Dude spent like 3 days and tagged every tuner on the forum to tell
Me boosted cars can't be tuned for flex fuel

yeah man, idunno, i just kinda think anybody that thinks these cars aren't fast is retarded.

The Roush file isn't locked down/scrambled?
They are, but both us (PCMTEC) and HPT can descramble Roush files. I know we can do pretty much every single 15-17 that had table encryption. They removed the table encryption in 18+ as I believe it was a huge headache for the calibrators.

They (and also whipple and some others for a short period of time) then resorted to putting multipliers in the spark tables, eg 0.00000004 degrees of spark * 40 (eg the master spark scalar for each mapped point would be set to something non 1.0 which it normally is) so that the table looked scrambled, easily fixed with the right click multiply feature though and reset the spark multipliers. I don't know if HPT mapped these or not but we 100% have.

I can do math.

here's a computer explaining it for you...
ChatGPT/AI is wild these days. It answers better than any human can. Also when you can fact check the answer (eg you understand the context) it is even more useful as you can call it out when it is wrong and the reinforcement learning will train it for next time. You should give it some draggy times to show it is wrong and see what it says.

That kind of jumped out at me ...

I'm not sure if that's a human or AI statement, but that's 0-100 (mph) in about 5.5 seconds.

That's some going for a standard GT ...

Can we think about that logically for a min, and then get back to pistons ? :like:

Oh wait, what were we talking about here? That's right, piston failures. Sorry we muddied up your post @engineermike, some dude with the worlds fastest stock GT got all up in my feelers

i corrected that later. it mistook peak for sustained, doesn't change the calculus much because most cars on the road can't even touch that peak velocity.

Fast is a matter of perspective and relative to experience. I bought my GT not because it is fast, but because of what it can be with boost. I'm now boosted and still don't consider it "fast" it's just faster than it was as there are a ton of cars around here that will still hurt my feelings. I was completely bored with it in stock form.
