So much here already that it's quicker to post than to search:

My 19 GT came with the stock blade spoiler but I'm considering swapping for a PP1 or a GT350 track pack spoiler. Would this be a straight install with the same holes? Or would I need to fill or drill?

How about the GT500? It’s a direct swap. The ones you asked about I’m not sure if they’re a direct swap.

From what I have read the GT350 , PP1, and PP2 spoilers use the same holes, not sure about the base GT spoiler.

Yes, the PP1, GT350 Track Pack, Mach/GT350/GT500 “Swing” all use the same holes as the base GT blade spoiler. From a Ford/Ford Performance spoiler standpoint, the only ones that require different holes/drilling is the 350R and GT500 CFTP wings.

Cement floor so just added protection from possible moisture. They are old rugs from the house so it’s not like I purchased them just for that.

I bought a used gt350 spoiler for 50 bucks. It fit perfectly fine on my GT that has the same sad spoiler you have. One of the best mods i've done to the car, looks fantastic.

It was beat up but nothing 20 minutes of polishing didn't clear up.

I did need an eraser wheel to get rid of the adhesive. And new adhesive that i cut to fit the used spoiler. Also it is not fun removing the stuck-on spoiler off your decklid.

I used the eraser also to remove the adhesive from the gt350 spoiler. Very thin fishing line works great for removing your OE blade spoiler.

I ll be the different one here to say the spoiler on your car the way it s sits is way better looking. Looks more refined IMO. Don t see the need for big eyesore . Are you going to balance the front to match the new rear then.? Those are supposedly designed by Ford to work together . Nice looking car either way!

Thanks for the feedback! Just toying with ideas so far - haven't ruled out stripes or side scoops, but I lean toward subtlety and don't want the Boy Racer look. Just debating whether the current spoiler is a bit *too* subtle....

Ah! The age old question..... Form or Function or both!

I read somewhere that the early PP cars didn't have a rear spoiler because it either caused too much high speed drag or upset the front/rear balance. Aero can be tricky if you're looking for something more functional. Most spoilers we see out there are purely for aesthetics and don't actually serve any useful purpose. I may be wrong, but I remember something I read that said the later PPI/PP2 spoilers do not actually provide any performance gain, are more "neutral" and only increase drag.

There's nothing like a sexy spoiler on a Mustang though! The only reason I don't have one yet is that I haven't found the right one.
