That would likely have either forced some suspension recalibration (to the disadvantage of those who would keep the summer tires) or come with a price penalty one way or the other for forcing a second set of GTPP suspension specs.Dead Serious... You're telling me they couldn't have put an option for some Pirelli P Zero Nero A/S or some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's? Yeah they could have for us that have a winter or colder winter temps. I live in Oklahoma and I could have all 4 seasons in one week. I don't live up north and have my igloo plan with my winter tires with studs stored at my local rubber peddler, ready to change out for the season. hahaha... SMH...
Consider that the first option would have put the GTPP at an even greater disadvantage against the 1LE, and that the second would make either the GTPP's summer tire buyers or the all-season customers feel like they were being sandbagged by having their tire choice appear as an extra-cost line item.
