What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Haven't had to do one in the Mustang yet (knock wood) but have on the wife's Fusion. Tight access and contortions to reach and I had to get creative with tools to get one to fit the access. But it's still worth the effort. I'm sure a dealer would quote taking the dash out...

I didn’t even think about that but you’re right, I could see a dealer saying ‘the dash has to come out’ . Not exactly pulling an engine like I used to do when I was younger, but still felt satisfying to get it done.

Actually wasn’t as bad as I thought, as you said just took a little creativity with tools to get the Torx fitting up in there.

Haven't done it yet, but going to this weekend. I noticed earlier in the week my turn signal light popped out and is just laying in the light housing. Hopefully I'll be able to get to it through the wheel well and not have to take the bumper off. I have one of these so I'm optimistic

Remove tire or turn it to the inside pop off couple clips reach in through the inner Fender Remove plug you may a claw tool but I put some double side tape on a long screwdriver reached in and pulled mine out. The reason it fell out in the first place is a plug and the bulb don't fit tight enough.

Soon after it I switched mine over to LED lights No more loose bulbs

Replaced the garbage OEM chrome lug nuts with a set of Gorillas. Car is in storage until spring, so here's to 4 more months.

Upgraded the brakes.

Extended studs (OPmustang), Girodisc rotors, PP 6 piston brembos and GLOC pads. Ceramic coated the wheels while I was at it.

Battery was dead. Stang has been sitting since thanksgiving. Overnight charge brought it back to life and I just bought a NOCO Genius 2 to get me through the rest of the winter. Pulled it in garage and got heater cooking. 32 and snowing today but toasty 65 in the garage. Did a Griots waterless wash. That should hold me over until spring.

Yah I wasn't going to post , but thought I would advertise for the guy that made it . I had a bad experience that makes me very cautious . But I also don't want to stop living . U know Bro

The hard part is always getting in and out when you realize that you've got the wrong tools...

It didn’t work . Replaced the blend door actuator, was very careful to align the gears, went through the HVAC reset procedure, and… still blows cold air on the passenger side.

Brought it to Tasca Ford today. They want $199 just to diagnose it . God d@mned dealers..
