if anyone is looking for the filter, rock auto shipped it in a few days time. part to search is FT228. It was cheaper than anywhere else. So I guess I have 2 filters coming now.

I was on Rockauto Saturday and they didn’t have any transmission filters. $98 is a great price too.

Y'all are talking about Tasca for parts . I use White Bear Autonation Ford in MN.

GREAT people. Everyone has been back ordered on GT350R rear rotors. White Bear had 2 and I have them in less than a week.

Just another option.

I think they backordered it, but it was shipped in just a few days. I was surprised.

In case anyone doesn't know, regular GT350 rotors are 100% identical to GT350R rotors. Same goes for Base and CFTP GT500's (identical to each other, not to GT350 rotors).

Now that these cars have been out awhile, what's the consensus to when the first and subsequent trans fluid changes should be done?

I'm at 6K miles and 4 total days on track.

The fluid change isn't cheap. I serviced mine way early. I dont recall the exact interval, but isn't it something like 20k miles????

As for you, it depends when you are comfortable with the pros vs cons. IMHO you can't change fluids too early, so it comes down to cost.

4 days on track isn't much IMHO

Yep, manual states every 20k miles. Cost me around $800-900 if I remember correctly.

Good to know for the next run, lol. Stealership charged me around $40
Just bought 9 qts via the Ford Parts app and selected my local Lincoln dealer who only charged ~$25/qt and no shipping (store pickup). Used some old points to boot. Total cost to me was $165.
