Yep, that helps. So, cut about half (1.5") of the spout off will leave enough of it so the funnel sits securely in the pan, yes? I'm gonna try and do the oil change this weekend but it may slide due to other chidt going on. :-) She hollers at me every time I start her now and it's irritating. <grin>

As a FYI...I found a product that helps draw oil out of a concrete drive. The result is a white powder which of course can be removed. If the oil was permitted to set overly long, it may take numerous applications to meet your level of satisfaction. The product is: Pull-It-Out"

Thanks, gonna look into that. Wife is PISSED I made a mess on my first Mustang oil change since I wasn't ready for the amount of oil coming out at the speed that it does lol

I've been using a traditional tall-ish drain pan vs the rectangular pan with the hole for the oil to drain into it. Very minimal splashing.
