A 10r80 won't live at 2000hp.I also know I am at my transmission reliability limit and when it fails, it will trash it preventing me from being able to send it out to be upgraded, which actually is in my winter project plans regardless. I am thinking on the 3.8 but really need to research its reliability. My dyno guy told me "Not" to go with a 3.8 due to issues he has seen with them but again, I can't take that as factual until I research. And whipples one year warranty is crap considering quite a few people don't drive their whipple cars past October so really they only get around 6 months of warranty. .
