I’m right there with you. I don’t want this to get shut down. The difference being these companys really didn’t have a choice with the agenda that was being pushed. He does get major kudo’s from me because he is a car guy and what Ford is doing in the performance area is really cool. They have a very difficult job to do and I won’t take that away.

I agree, but so many drank the Kool-aid on investing so much on the EV BS they Fuxked themselves and their companies on doing stupid Shxt. Dodge has a longer journey ahead than Ford but without a doubt ALL of these companies will lose 10s of billions before the their heads are above water. Sad

That’s putting it mildly.

I have spent way too much time looking for pertinent information through UAW/Ford labor contracts. Mother of God, it amazes me that Ford is able to sell anything at all given the endless constraints they are bound by (and I was in a union for thirty years but the UAW nonsense is next level). You expect quality on top of that? How dare you! I'm going to contact the shop steward or rep and file a grievance immediately!

How many versions of the coyote can Ford make and slap a new label or model and sell for a premium?

I love the Shelby nameplate, but I agree with others that since the Shelby license was cut the name might not be Shelby GT500.
Could possibly be just GT500 with a new logo instead of the snake; or maybe Ford will use another name like Cobra, Terminator or Boss... or even better, Raptor!
Who knows, but regardless this is exciting! 🍻

Actually with the mandates and other crap coming from, well you know, Ford had no choice but to invest in EV's. I think Ford did the best of most of the manufacturers and used the EV's to circumnavigate the rules to keep a V8 sports car.

From a business point of view if many nations and some States are planning on banning ICE cars you either invest in EV or go out of business.

Glad the nonsense is over.

I am not sure what else they can do to the S650 they everyone hasn't done 20 times now. Every car that is released is just a Coyote with a Whipple. Over and over and over. Is the BOSS just going to be a Dark Horse with a Whipple, jeeez. Beating a dead horse, pun intended.

It is hard to argue with how good of a package that is though.

I agree it is great. I’m just over the big announcement where it’s another version of the same thing. The coyote is strong, it makes 800 hp easy. But yeah.

A big block chevy will do 850 N/A. I really want a coyote headed 7.3 in aluminum.

With the right parts they can make 800 plus and be streetable.

An aluminum 7.3 with coyote style heads and TiVVt could maybe make 1K streetable N/A power

yea yea, I see “streetable” twice in your theory, and every car from the 405 on Street Outlaws is “streetable” too 😉
