Installed the Form smoked side marker lights. Took a very simple mod and tried to make it as difficult as possible because that's how I roll. But it's done.

Waiting on a sale for the Form smoked tail lights, then I'll add those.

So I just went into the FordPass app to check my oil life percent and they have a brand new terms and conditions they want you to accept that’s a mile long about sharing data and all kinds of other things with their affiliates. I did not click it and I can check the oil life when I get in my car in the morning.
Now you just need to disable that telematics modem.........

I recommend keeping your stock marker lights, if you still have them. I had aftermarket lights and many of the LED's quit working. Unfortunately I tossed the OEM, and after the aftermarket failures, I purchased replacements on eBay, not wanting to chance a substandard aftermarket change again.
BTW...if you went to the FORM brand lights to also have a smoked lens look, I found that with the OEM ones, I was able to locate online and apply smoke film on my OEM ones as well. Now I have robust OEM performance, and the film is translucent enough to see the bulb well.

I had my H-pipe and roush axle-back welded up to fix the exhaust leaks at all four points. I purchased it with the current setup but the bands kept allowing movement and kept leaking. The exhaust didn't have that crisp sound anymore but began sounding muffled with a small tick from the leaks. I think it may be due to the steeply angled curb entering my driveway. It causes a lot of flex in the car, as I have to take it slow and at an angle which I think causes the exhaust to flex as well, loosening the bands over time. I know welding it limits my options to go back to a resonator or switch out components but I'm happy with the sound, even though it's a little loud at times (i.e. cold starts, no active exhaust). In the long run I plan to do a different/full exhaust setup anyway but I'm happy with this setup for now. Attached are a few before and after pictures for anyone searching the forum for similar problems.

From what I've seen, any clamped exhaust setup will show that type of leakage over time. Water leaks through the connection and carries soot with it until there's some heat in the pipes and it seals up.
My base model mustang had a plastic firewall brace that only bolted underneath the cowl and passenger side strut tower . Installed FP firewall / tower brace few months ago that seemed to stiffen up front tend a little . I removed the tower brace thinking the metal full fire wall brace will be sufficient . There is so much hard cornering you can do with 18 inch tires. I cleaned up the engine bay reinstalled eng.cover and checked the fluids. Oil change is due 1000 more miles

I believe ice445 is referring to the third piece of the puzzle. Why it isn’t included is beyond me !

Plus, the uninitiated install the two braces without the extension piece, and that only serves to stress the thin cowl sheet metal.

I did a very simple shift knob swap from the old stock shift knob, which I didn't really care for, to a new GT350 shift knob, specifically designed for the S550:

I really like the look of it and it feels great in my hand, compared to the old stock one.

The red accents go really well with the Ruby Red Metallic color of the car.
Looks great! On my list now since I did red stitching on the interior bits. Is this a direct swap? I thought the GT350 used different hardware.

You're correct @StangTime

The original GT350 shift knob does have a different thread pattern, that won't fit the S550s.

However, this GT350 shift knob, was designed specifically for the S550, so yes, it is a direct swap.

Here's a link:

https://www.americanmuscle.com/modern-billet-gt350-style-red-shift-knob-directfit-1517.html

I will front-load you, with some good information though.

If you have the stock shifter that has the safety collar underneath the shift knob, you have make sure you set the GT350 Shift knob at the correct height, so that it allows the safety collar to fully engage, so you can put the transmission into Reverse.

The GT350 shift knob comes with an extra nut, and that nut is essentially used to adjust the height of where you want the GT350 shift knob to sit on the shifter.

If you don't use that extra nut and you just screw that GT350 shift knob all the way down onto the shifter, as far as it will go, the safety collar will NOT have enough clearance, to fully engage and you won't be able to shift your car into reverse.

It probably took me about 10 tries, before I had everything adjusted properly.
