Seems similar to what my F250 did after oil changes. Turns out it was the WIX filter I put on. Clicked like crazy until I had about 4000-5000 miles on the oil. Then completely gone. I suspect the WIX had a higher flow rate, which made a valve somewhere move, and around 5000 miles the filter had consolidated enough crap that the flow rate went back to normal.

I am just speculating though.

You said you did a 5w-30 swap. What oil was in it before? 5w-30 is what the factory recommends since 2020 I believe.

I had 5w-20 full synthetic. That's what I was told.

I did a 5w30 swap, haven't added ceratec yet, but my engine is making way more noise than before. It sounds like BBQ tick is worse and on cold start I have a tick coming from injector area. I'm worried as well cause tick gets worse with rev it sounds like. I really don't want it to be a spun bearing but I'll record a video soon and post it.

Engine has 13k miles. Have brely beat on it since I've owned it. Driving me nuts.

I have not, I'm gonna get a stethoscope this week. Seems the noise top end has quieted down a tad bit.

They changed the spec to 5W30 as Ryan said, either late 2020 or sometime in 2021. Either way, changing from 5w20 to 5w30 isn’t going to cause any issues

i've run 5w30 since day 1 and after break in miles and sufficient warm up do not baby it.
these cars (like any good woman) like to be gently but firmly manhandled on the regular.
