I just noticed this today. Take a look at the tail panels of the black and blue. Some have the Nurburgring race track on them, maybe another package like the gt3rs had the weissach package?

Also, I’m very curious as to what the selection process was looking for. I feel it must have been a bit random or not nearly as strict as the GT. For example, I didn’t even submit a video and I was allocated one. Just gave a description of my cars and that I’ve saved a few Shelby’s from being parted out and got them back on the road. My list of cars at the time of ordering were the following so this is a bit TMI but I’m just curious as to why I was selected . Not complaining at all lol but could love to know more about the selection process. I think we all would.

1970 Chevelle SS
2021 GT500 (Auction)
2019 GT350 (Auction)
2023 Ford Raptor (Dealer)
2021 F250 (Dealer)
2024 F250 (Dealer)
2023 Expedition (Dealer)
2023 Ford Explorer (Dealer)
I suspect they just pull names from a hat after a bottle of whisky or three.

Do they even do "Proof of Funds" on selected parties? Maybe a soft credit check or a Kroll / World check to prequalify?

Well, I'm definitely late to this party. All I can say is WOW and what a badass factory racecar !
Good deal for all of the men who managed to be in line for one of those beauties.
Tom, Charlie, Allen, Patrick and Ryan, congratulations on living well, working hard and investing well to purchase one of these GTDs. Hope that you all enjoy the Hell out of these special cars,
each of you in your own special way. I'm sure that the Tomster will drive his like it was meant to be driven and enjoyed. I would be blessed just to see him blasting around the track at Daytona !
My two favorite gentleman on this forum are Kevin (Honey Badger) & Tom (Tomster) for all of the hard work they do and knowledge that they share. Carry on all, and enjoy those Monsters !
I'll make sure to save your journeys. :like:   :inlove:

Future GTD owners, GT Spirit will be making a 1:18 resin diecast model in Grabber Blue. They are available for pre-order here. Just put in my pre-order since a 1:1 is out of my price range. Thought I’d throw it out there if anyone wants a diecast to accompany their actual GTD.

Wouldn’t it be really cool if they would let you order this model in the color you pick. That would be a collectors item to go with your collectors item. I would just paint this thing my color.

There’s a site similar to Mint Models that will custom paint whichever diecast car you order. They’ll also make a custom license plate for it so you could actually make an exact replica of your actual car. I’ll see if I can find that site again

I can’t find the site that will do custom paint & license plate but I did find one that will do a custom license plate. I’ll keep searching for the one that does the custom paint and will post if/when I find it

I hope you find it. I’m surprised you haven’t posted it here before but I know it would be hard to find with how many times we all post. That would be the most popular site to me. I’ll still make my 2019 I just sold just to have it as well as the M1.

I have like 8 different diecast websites bookmarked and the one I’m looking for I don’t bookmark 🤦‍♂️

I've been sequestered off the grid in deep, dark, northern MN for the past week and a half and doing my best to avoid humanity, so I'm finally seeing this thread....

Congrats to those chosen!!!

I'm surprised at the number of you on the board. I shall live vicariously through you, as any vehicle much over the low six figure mark is above my pay grade.

Trying not to clog up Tom’s GTD Journey thread since that’s more specific to his car journey. Ford’s official Mustang Instagram account posted this today. Will probably continue to see more nuggets come out as production nears

Initial numbers are a little disappointing. 815 HP. Waiting on weight and ring numbers.
