Surprised that I did not receive a GTD allocation the other day. Especially given that I’m a SAAC member, have two 1965 Shelby GT350’s, one being a very rare early hand built model, a 2019 Shelby GT350, and a new F350 pickup.

Wondering if part of their decision making is based upon connections.
Will now shift to my other plan in purchasing a 2025/6 Corvette ZR1.
A car that will have at least 20% more horsepower, and a far greater torque, for half the price of a GTD.

So had your application been accepted you would have been happy to have had a car with at least 20% less horsepower, far less torque, and for double the price of a ZR1?

I'd have to take out a 30 year mortgage to buy this car.

Tom, I hope you get one.

Don’t be so sure it will be half the price either. I’ve seen MSRP estimates at $200k+. And surely there will be ADM, unless GM is somewhat successful in stomping it out.

Were you waitlisted or flat our rejection? A wait list will most likely turn into an allocation.

If you couldn’t tell, there’s plenty of us here in the S550 forum that want to follow Tom’s (and others) GTD journey. Most of us aren’t over on 7G.
Hell, I'm on 7G and I came over to follow.

Actually, the slip is at home and I dont have the tracking number. I'm at work. If all goes well, I should have it tomorrow and I'll verify it's delivery. I suspect the initial call will be to go over things and I would expect a FedEx owners ordering kit to be sent out to help with color selection as well as information on options.

We shall see.

It'll be interesting to see what an actual owners order kit looks like. The one for the 3rd gen Ford GT was amazing.

So in looking back on the thread it looks like it’s been cleaned up. Now we can get back to the real point of what’s going on.

Would be cool to also get one of those pocket chips made from titanium with out build # or vin. I won’t hold my breath but I bet it’s cool.

It should be very much like the Ford GT buying experience. I believe allocation holders received was called the Ford GT ownership order kit.
