Classic European driving gloves are very useful. The better ones are made from thin high quality leather and are quite soft. I guess they originated when European sports cars had polished wood steering wheels and the cars had manual steering. They look great, feel great, and do the job...
I've used 5 mm spacers on many cars, i.e. 2019 GT350, C7 Corvette Z06. Never a problem and always used stock lugs. Of course as you go longer other factors become critical.
Easily fixable, except I live in MA. My guy has fixed much worse for my wheels. I'm sure you can find someone local. Your best bet is to search for someone that focuses on high end wheels, i.e. custom, Porsche, Mercedes, etc.
Hopefully the weather cooperates. If it's your first time you'll enjoy it immensely. Always a great opportunity to have fun, meet fellow enthusiasts with similar interests, and develop contacts.
As a current owner of multiple Mustangs, Shelby's and Corvette's, I got a real laugh out of reading the comments here. The crazy devotees were the funniest. ALL manufacturers have some problems their products - always has been and always will be. Nothing wrong with favoring one over the other...
As the owner of a 2019 GT350 I am looking forward again to the Mustangs of the Mountain event to take place at the Palmer Motorsports Park in Palmer, MA this coming Sunday, October 22nd. It has always been a great event, both with the the array of Mustangs on display, as well as the track laps...
Not sure I understand the purpose of car meet pictures, cruise or otherwise, that focuses essentially on non-Mustang/non-Ford cars.
For a much more appropriate venue, as it relates to this site, next Sunday (weather permitting) Sarat Ford, Agawam, MA will be renting the entire Palmer (MA)...
Sound, like visual aesthetics, is in the "eye of the beholder". Strict analysis basically will not give one an answer as the the "best", as people's perceptions can range from very short range duration to a much more ingrained long range result. Comparisons among various cars is tricky as a cars...
Was in Milan last year for the Italian GP and visits to various supercar factories and private collections. While out for a stroll one night ran into a new Bullitt along with the owner. Had a pleasant discussion. Tough to own anywhere in Europe as gas is some $8-9/gal. Never mind yearly taxes...
Aesthetically to much tire in view outbound of the body contour. Would break up to air flow. the body flow on any vehicle with the tire sticking out so far. Also cuts down the aerodynamics on the car, i.e. more resistance to air flow.
Good idea as it would have the look of my two 1965 Shelby GT350's. Only problem I see is aesthetically, the car currently has black lower body stripes. Bad idea to have two different color stripes for multiple reasons. Either need to do the over the body stripes in black, or replace the lower...
These days drivers blow through red lights with abandon. Almost as if they had a subconcious death wish given the very low chance of successfully getting through their red light.
Nonetheless most people have no understanding of what odds even mean, much less applying them to achieving success...
