I've been looking to switch up my Magnaflow Competition dual exhaust to a quad tip setup using the GT350 rear valance on my base 2016 mustang for about a year now, but put the idea aside due to having to get a whole new premium bumper for the change...well I recently got rear ended with very minor damage that made me finally pull the trigger on it.
I wasn't really interested in keeping the fake tips on the GT350 rear valance and really wanted to stick with the magnaflow competition sound of my current car and run dual tips on each side. Problem is, the magnaflow competition setup doesn't have enough room when chopping the tips off to make it fit :frusty:
After consulting with the nearby exhaust shop as well as Magnaflow directly, they said it would be best to buy the quad tip setup for the roush valance and try to make it work! Best part was the exhaust was on sale at the time which made it a no brainer:hail:
So after 8 hours at the exhaust shop and a few days at the body shop, I finally have exactly what I wanted. A modified quad tip magnaflow competition setup ran straight through the GT350 rear valance :cheers:
