Are you saying you paid 23k for your GT?Considering that 13k in 1990 is a little over 23k in today's money, a base GT is kind if a bargain when you compare the two on merit.
I think the point is some people would rather have fewer standard features included in the base price of the car so that the car could cost closer to 23k.
I agree with that.
