  1. Cooled seats not cooling

I've owned at least 15 new vehicles, including six Mustangs, and this is the first time I've encountered a problem where a feature not only doesn't work as advertised, but works counter to expectations. If Ford isn't going to fix it, then they can start counting lost future sales with me right...
  2. Cooled seats not cooling

Respectfully, I refuse to accept that line of thinking. Of course it'll cost Ford money to fix existing cars. Why shouldn't it? We paid for the feature and it doesn't work. They owe us a fix or a refund. Ford also sold some of us squealing brakes and subsequently paid to fix them. Why should we...
  3. 2015 S550 Owners, Are you satisfied?

Aside from the brake squeal (fixed), poor seat cooling (not fixed), and a few random buzzes and rattles, I'm very happy with mine.
  4. Phone call from Dave Pericak

That's the problem. The back is supposed to cool and doesn't. In fact, the back actually heats up for some of us after the cooling system has been on a while.
  5. 401A

I'm very happy with my 401A package. The Shaker Pro system does sound considerably better than the standard version, and the cross-traffic alert comes in very handy when wedged between two behemoths in a parking lot. The rest is just icing on the cake.
  6. Anyone regretting their premium package?

I love my 401A package and only wish the cooled seats were better executed.
  7. Which car to get? Manual or auto?

I've owned both the MT-82 and the 6R80. The 6R80 provides, hands-down, a much better driving experience for me. And while I do have to confess to having arthritic knees and a traffic-ridden commute, those aren't the only reasons I enjoy the auto more. In any case, my thoughts on the matter are...
  8. San Jose to Carmel Cruise - Sunday July 19th

I couldn't make it either. Hope everyone had a good time.
  9. AC AUTO button won't disable

I suppose it's possible there could be variations in the control modules, but that would only serve to foster confusion. Bottom line, I don't think Auto is actually supposed to be a toggle. It wasn't in my '13 and my '15 follows suit. The owner's manual has nothing to say about it either.
  10. Ford bought my Lemon back!

This is pretty much my story as well.
  11. Color Regret?

It took me forever to decide on a color and I'm still happy with my choice.
  12. Pony In The Grill

I love the pony, don't mind the GT emblem, and could live without the 5.0 badges.
  13. First car i ever bought!

Welcome to the Race Red Club!
  14. AC AUTO button won't disable

I don't believe the Auto button is meant to be a toggle. At least it's never worked that way on mine. Pressing Auto any number of times simply enables automatic mode. Adjusting the fan speed or selecting a specific output option is what puts the system in manual mode.
  15. Cooled seats not cooling

Ford better fix it! Otherwise, they owe us a refund for a feature that doesn't work. I think we should all complain to our dealer, get a case # from Ford Service, and be diligent about not accepting this as "normal." That's what'll make a TSB happen. I also don't agree that it's just an...
  16. Just made a deal over the phone, cold feet already!

I agree that people should avoid making commitments, verbally or otherwise, if they're not ready to hold up their end. But when it comes to purchasing a vehicle from a franchised dealership, a binding deal doesn't really exist until the terms are settled and agreed upon by all parties in...
  17. Just made a deal over the phone, cold feet already!

I disagree with the whole "a deal is a deal" notion when it comes to cars. I've personally walked away from "deals" because they magically changed when I reached the finance office. It's funny how trade values can go down and interest rates can go up during that few moments between saying yes...
