Not me, a rep I supervise. The dealer said they had nothing to do with it. Ford sent her what looks like an apology letter. I don't know if she got some consumer group or a gov't office. But Ford seems to be wanting to talk to her now. SMH I hope it works out for her.

Some good info here. It looks like I can skip the PP altogether. Especially if the suspension bits aren't up to snuff. A good tower brace/adjustable shocks/sway bars combo should do the trick. :D

Flame on? Yeah! I have a choice between Steeda and Ford Racing.

One can order gears by themselves. And the base brakes are fine for the street. I've driven three GTs so far and they handle the guess-timated 360 at the rear wheels. I have to keep an eye on the Ford Racing for some suspension-only kit.

Can one tune a GT's suspension better than Ford's Performance Pack for way less money? If so, shows us your parts wish list!

Say one purchases a base model of any engine size and gets the basic audio system. Is it possible to upgrade that with the Shaker Pro Audio system from the Mustang premium trims? Does Ford Motor Company or Ford dealerships offer that Shaker audio upgrade after vehicle purchase?

The base GT of 2005 was $27k. Alongside inflation we should factor in new technologies introduced in that 15 year span.

Ah, that's what I did wrong: not concise enough, too many verbal flourishes. LOL I didn't mean raw as going back to old tech. It was in line with the exhaust and some analog feel. The fifth gen had a system that was very quiet until you floored it. Then everyone knew hell was let loose... but...
