9 months and 6 days since breaking the ringland on #6 piston, she's back running. I am having a very hard time getting into 2nd gear . Not sure if the Barton Hybrid 3 needs tweaking or the clutch still needs to bleed some more. It's a Vengeance stage 2 with a new braided line and new slave cylinder. Its got about 60 miles on it so TOTALLY not broken in yet, but it is concerning at this point. Other than that, going to do the first break in oil and filter change at 250 miles in the next day or 2, then do another one this week at 500 miles, then keep going to 750 miles to break in the clutch. Hopefully by then we will have the 2nd gear issue worked out so i can get working on data logging and tweaking the 93 tune, the onto tuning for ethanol...💪

Did you vacuum bleed the clutch system? If you try to bleed it the old fashioned way it can take forever

Got my dash cam installed using the Dongar harness that plugs into my mirror. It was a lot easier than routing a wire through the car and using up one of my power ports. It hides behind the mirror pretty well although a passenger can see it.

Are you using the Dongar cam as well? Do you have to use Dongar camera with their harness? Always wanted to run a dash cam but didn't want to mess with the wires and I didn't know a solution like this existed. How do you like your setup?

I did not. Last weekend I pushed the pedal 750+ times, no bullshit. Then yesterday I pushed it 100+ times, but I think I need to put vacuum to it.

I already had a camera that just happened to be the same one they were selling. You can use any camera you want though as it comes with 3 different usb cables. The Dongar harness is short which made placing the camera a little tricky but I am happy with the way it turned out.

Monday: Wired in my CTEK so I no longer have to take the battery cover off and do all that mickey mouse stuff with the clips. Life is so much easier now.

Today I took her for a drive to the LCBO and let her stretch her legs a bit. Supposed to rain in the coming days so back into the garage she went.

Sunday I'm going to hand clean the engine bay so I can get it prepped to go have the front grill inserts swapped out end of April and then off to get a fresh coat of Ceramic Coating May 1st.

Still debating on the 17" F14 Beadlocks + Mickey Thompson ET Street SS as that's another like $3000+ CDN (or $100.00 USD lol)

I managed to fit my plug end out of the front top of grill so I don’t have to lift bonnet and you don’t see the plug as all same colour. Fed from front of grill in and restrained behind with cable tie so it can’t pull out and makes it easier during every connect and disconnect. 🤝😎🏎

Woke it up from it's winter slumber. Got my new wheels on and took it for a drive!

Wheels are from LMR. SVE SP2. Tires are Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02. I think I like these better than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (MPS4S has much thicker rim protection though). I got wider wheels and lost 32 lbs of unspung weight. I'm surprised by the difference in how the car seems to soak up road imperfections and is less jarring now. I also like the fact I can clean the calipers without removing the wheels.

Front: 10" (+35 offset), 285/35R19
Rear: 11" (+50 offset), 325/30R19

Off topic: The paint on this car blows me away. Same lighting, same time of day, just different angles and the car changes shades.
Car looking REAL good my man, I'm all over the place on rims for my car. Every time I think I got a selection set in stone I see something that makes me want something else. Was set on a square APEX set, then I look at your car and think maybe I should just go staggered.

Yep. The Ctek female connector fits snug in the honeycomb. I added a dot of glue to make sure it didn't dislodge.

Thanks! It's been a long journey to get it to this point. I was researching wheels for the last 3 years while I saved up for this upgrade. Explored all the options and time after time I kept coming back to the PP2 style design. Went with the SP2 instead of the OEM PP2 wheel because of the weight reduction, a better choice in sizes, and it came in gloss black. It just looks perfect on this car.

Spilled some corn chips between the console and the seat, but this is nothing new...
