Well apparently wengerd doesn’t do sensor based flex and lund offers user adjustable flex but not automatic sensor based flex.

if anyone knows a tuner who offers true automatic sensor based flex let me know.
HPJ Performance have done quite a few PCMTEC can bus flex fuel tunes. You could try them

Just FYI I don't believe they do remote tuning however they may be interested in developing and selling a plug and play kit.
I emailed them as well about a user adjustable dyno tune. I am 4 hours from there.
Would the Fuel It kit work with the PCMtec software? It has a 5v output hut just mentions JB4 integration if i remember right.

I just spoke to them and they are working on a plug and play kit that they will likely sell online.

Lund will do CAN Flex fuel if you supply and fit your own kit.

Only the Zeitronix ECA-2 kit is supported at the moment as we use CAN bus and require the CAN ID to be configurable.

Same for me but glad to hear they’re working on a kit.

I talked to Lund about it and they offer canbus user adjustable flex but said they have no plans to offer automatic sensor based flex.

User adjustable and canbus flex are identical. The only difference is one requires a kit with a sensor, providing your install the sensor yourself they will do it (and have with a few DIY customers). If the kit failed or doesn't work it simply falls back to user adjustable flex as a default, so you could get a tune with it enabled and install the kit at your own leisure.

If your want instructions to build your own kit we can send you are reference design. Otherwise wait until shops start building their own. There are at least 3 I've spoken to working on a plug n play kit.

Thanks for the info. I would love the instructions to build the kit, if for nothing else just to understand how it works.

We will supply it to anyone who has purchased the software. Simply contact https://support.pcmtec.com

Short story is it is a Zeitronix ECA-2 with the CANBus output wired directly to the HS1 CAN on the PCM. There is an included reference design with recommendations for wiring, plumbing and fitment also.

The kit itself is extremely simple in concept, a sensor with a bypass installed pre fuel rail.

Here is the product we released for the Ford Falcon several years ago, there are literally thousands of these installed in Australia. The logic works similarly if you want to read about the background of what we based the US design on. The Australian kit uses an analog output, the US kit is superior in many ways. The implementation of a lagged signal to account for trapped fuel in the lines and CANbus to remove any ground offset issues.
