New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Love the look. How's the quality overall on these wheels? I had Enkei RPF1s on my last car and loved the light weight but the paint chipped like nothing I'd ever seen. My only experience with aftermarket wheels.

I live on a gravel and dirt road and don’t have any chips in mine after 3 years.

Mine have held up as good as the oem ones, almost no chips or damage in 2 years In a super bad area for it.

Are these only available in the US? I haven't found any place in Canada selling them. I went on LMR's website and put them in my cart and entered my shipping address. Then picked my jaw up off the floor and promptly deleted my order. The shipping cost alone was $412 USD. I need to forget about these and find a similar wheel that is available in Canada.

Call lmr. They might can hook you up if you talk to them. They gave me a better deal over the phone. I paid 800 shipped a few years ago.

That shipping cost actually seems cheap. I think you will find that having any wheels shipped will be about the same. So yeah, if you can find a local vendor, you might be able to save a few bucks, but a local vendor with a brick and mortar store is going to charge more so it might be about the same cost.

I ordered the SP2, staggered fitment, from LMR a while back for my wife's 2017 GT. No regrets.

As an alternate, you might look at the RTR "Tech 5". It's a very similar design.

American Muscle sells a PP2 replica also and they are cheaper than LMR, tho they are probably cast. Anyway AM is based out of eastern PA so shipping may be cheaper.
They come in 19x8.5 and 19x10 in black or charcoal

I'm in Canada and even with the shipping they were a decent deal. Shipping 4 large boxes isn't going to be cheap. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a cheaper quality wheel. I think fast wheels offers some flow formed options and they are Canadian so you might have some luck there.

I got a better shipping price when I filled in the whole shipping form. It was $306 USD by Fedex ground. That's not too bad given what everyone is saying about shipping wheels. I just thought it would be less.

I like the RTR and found them in Canada but they are only $100 cheaper all said and done.
Might as well get the SP2's.

Oh hell no. That's a whole other level of legalized wallet pilfering that our beloved Canadian government feels entitled to.
There will be a 13% tax on it. As a general rule of thumb, Canadian cost is a little less than double the USD amount.

Then imo you might as well find a service that would ship them to Buffalo, and go pick them up there, when you do a trip to Niagara next time.

It will be more than 13% since those rims are not made in US, therefore I'm assuming they would charge you the import tax as well. And you'd get ripped off for brokerage fees on top of it all.
