I was at Autorama in Houston years ago with a friend of the family who collected Corvettes. There was a white second gen Corvete (I forget what year) that claimed to be a "1 of 1" with that color combination and "disk brake delete" (it had drums at all four corners). The family friend made a...
CrazyHippie - thanks. I saw those and they look like they would work but they are plastic and not the same design as the OEM clips. I always try to find OEM or good copies of OEM fasteners, etc.
I changed the oil in my wife's 2017 GT Friday evening and noticed one of the splash guard screws was missing. Turns out both the screw and the little metal insert the screw threads into are gone from that location. Does anyone know where I can purchase those little metal screw inserts that...
I just realized I forgot to include the paper with the date and my username in those pictures (forum rule #2). I will retake the pictures with the required info. this weekend and repost.
For sale:
Complete front and rear brake setup from a 2017 Mustang GT. All components are used but in good condition. I removed these parts from my wife's 2017 Mustang GT when I upgraded her brakes to the Brembo 6-piston Bullitt kit. All 4 rotors have about 800 miles on a fresh re-surface and...
@linkysys
I saw your thread about the "sloshing water" behind the seat and was about to post a link to this thread, then I realized your post in this thread is the reason it popped up under "latest posts". Glad you found it and revived it. I just checked my wife's 2017 GT and sure enough, the...
OP -
My wife has a 2017 GT. When I changed the cabin air filter I had to completely remove that panel under the glove box. Even with that panel completely out of the way the process was a complete PITA. The filrer housing is curved and mostly blocked by dash components, wiring harnesses...
I wish it could be shipped for a reasonable cost. Apparently the vendors get much better shipping rates because they ship in high volume. One guy wanting to ship one item has to pay top dollar to ship freight.
Thanks for the bump.
That shipping cost actually seems cheap. I think you will find that having any wheels shipped will be about the same. So yeah, if you can find a local vendor, you might be able to save a few bucks, but a local vendor with a brick and mortar store is going to charge more so it might be about...
Wow. This has happened to a bunch of outdoor gun ranges around the country, including a couple near me. A neighboorhood or two get built too close to an existing and established outdoor range then, within a couple of years, a group forms and starts pushing to shut the range down-supposedly...
Yup. Local pickup only. The kit weighs over 200 lbs. with shipping pallet (160 lbs without) and can only be shipped freight. The shipping cost is ridiculous.
I had this listed for sale a while back, didn't get much interest. Then I decided to install the brakes rather than sell the kit so I marked it "sold". It's been a few more months now and I still haven't installed them so I'm posting the kit for sale again. Everything is still in the original...
