I'm curious to get some feedback on my Steeda camber plate install.
The shop that put them on said the least amount of negative camber they could get with the plates was -1.1 and -1.4. They said they had the plates as far out as they could go, and the plates were hitting the inside of the strut tower.
I had them equal out both sides to -1.4 which I realize is very close to factory spec and im good with that. But im curious why they couldn't be adjusted any further, since Steeda say you should be able to get 2-3 degrees of total camber adjustment.
I was thinking maybe they were installed incorrectly. But I can look throught the top of the towers and see the plates and upper brackets are oriented correctly (facing to the outside of the car). I also see drivers side strut is pushed out a good amount.
My car does have a 1" drop from the Steeda lowering springs, so maybe that's a factor here.
Has anyone else run into this or have thoughts on why I can't get less negative camber?
