Well for starters you can limit the 93 boost using the flex logic. Secondly I’m on the 3.25 pulley and the big Whipple intercooler does such a good job pulling the temps down, it still runs 20 deg cooler than a Roush setup does on stock boost. In fact, I can’t say that I’ve been able to measure a temp increase at the higher boost.Yeah but why create more heat with that smaller pulley if you don’t need to?
That said, my preferred method of managing knock on 93 is to retard the timing so that’s mostly how I handle it on my car.
