https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-6042-mustang-gt350-braided-stainless-brake-line-kitAnyone have the steeda stainless steel brake lines on their Mach 1? Can you please confirm the part number for the kit? My install has become a complete disaster. I’m wondering if I got the proper kit.
Here’s what I received, same part number (assuming they are properly labeled and packaged)but my installer couldn’t get them to fit properly and had at least 1 call with steeda. In less than 5 miles of driving I have brake fluid leaking at all 4 corners. I am beyond pissed. I don’t have time to do this work myself, I certainly don’t have time to get my car back to the shop again to get it resolved.https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-6042-mustang-gt350-braided-stainless-brake-line-kit
These are the Steeda braided stainless lines for Mach 1's with MagneRide. The sku is 555-6042. I have these on my car. I had my dealer install them at the same time with Steeda's two piece rotors. Call them tomorrow as I have received incorrect parts from them due to the sku/picture/descriptions not matching. Hope this helps.

That's for a 350 which has different front and rear calipers, different knuckles etc when compared to an M1 ... ?https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-6042-mustang-gt350-braided-stainless-brake-line-kit

Agree with all you said. I’ve IM @tj@steeda hoping to get clarification and guidance. He said in an earlier IM to me that they have installed a kit without any modification or issues on 3 different Mach 1 cars. I’m dropping my car back off at my installer this morning. I need it fixed. That's for a 350 which has different front and rear calipers, different knuckles etc when compared to an M1 ... ?
I'm not questioning that your dealer made them fit, but is there not another kit that's better suited ? (Maybe helping to avoid the OP's problems ?)
Yes, I know Steeda's advert has this note :

But we also know there are very obvious 'mechanical' differences between the models listed ...

Very clear differences from 'other' manufacturers (if we can trust the photos) :Agree with all you said. I’ve IM @tj@steeda hoping to get clarification and guidance. Sure looks like it. Which means if I got the wrong kit, I’ll need to reinstall the factory lines and all that requires bleed, fluid, etc. then do it all over again once I get the correct parts. Who’s going to pay for all that labor, my time, expensive synthetic brake fluid, etc?Very clear differences from 'other' manufacturers (if we can trust the photos) :

Sadly, unless it was Steeda technicians installed the wrong parts on your car, their only obligation is to replace defective or incorrectly shipped parts. This is unfortunate and is the risk you take doing mods. I've been bitten a few times and have experienced a level of customer service that makes me hesitant to trust any vendors unless it's OEM parts.Sure looks like it. I can't disagree with anything that you've stated. I can only provide what my experience has provided. The dealer just installed them without any modifications. I suspect if there were any issues they would have made that known at the time as I have a great relationship with them. That's for a 350 which has different front and rear calipers, different knuckles etc when compared to an M1 ... ?
