What station? I was running E85 for a few months but always had to drive a bit to find it. No stations in Fairfax County :(
The Royal Farms in Oxon MD just east of Alexandria

Cool. Yeah MD has it too. Fairfax is just a black hole for it.

Enjoy the tune. It's fun.

Realized I probably can't do it myself and need a body shop to take care of this. Baffling it's only ever been gently hand washed. I blame the paint/job quality. Also wtf is with the cracked welds? how does that happen in less than 50k miles?!?

Common. Especially in hot areas and cars that aren't garaged.

Those aren't welds, it's where the two body panels come together and get seam-sealed and then painted over.

A body shop will have to fix that.

In the mean time, I'd hit that with something to cover the bare metal and keep it water-tight. Maybe some POR15.

Why do you ask? If you are thinking flexing may be a cause, I would think jacking rails would reduce body flex compared to jacking a quarter of a car at a time. Or do some brands of jacking rails bow when used?

I've got some Ford points burning a hole in my Ford app. I need to get one of these...
I’m not sure you can use the ford points for it, because it’s a ford performance part, not available through the ford accessories site. I could be wrong though. I remember when I was looking at a manual GT I wanted that one and the parts department said they couldn’t order it because it was Ford Performance. And I don’t see anywhere on the FP site to use the points. I could be completely wrong though and the dealer didn’t want to do the extra work. I’d be interested if the FP site uses points because there are a few things I wanna get from there.

Hmm....South Florida as in close to the coast, as in salty air???? I live about a half mile from the coast now and salt is a bit of an issue for me, not just for my car but unprotected tools in the garage.

It looks like from your last pic that you have hardened paint across flexing joints, permitting water to wick underneath and corrode from the inside out. The chipping pattern around the damage perimeter indicates poor paint adhesion as well.

Yes, I'm just curious if they help or hurt this issue (which is very common unfortunately).

Brought it to the cars and coffee today and fortunately there was a Thunderbird club there today. They must’ve had 50 1956 to 1957 Thunderbirds there. Beautiful. Sorry no more than this on the pics. The pink one made me think of my dad and that was all I needed.
