took my first step into getting tuned...i went with the SCT X4 and Palm Beach Dyno. 91, flex and E85 when finished.
loaded the first 91 octane tune, did idle and rev datalogs and sent them in

1 minor complaint is, is that on the inital order form, it asks what mods and i explicitly wrote Ford Performance Power Pack 2 ( 87mm GT350 Throttle Body & GT350 CAI ) on checkout, i was brought to another shortened order form without any text fields and just one mention of a cold air intake, so i checked that.
i got the tune the other day and out of caution, i emailed back and asked if the throttle body was in the tune, they responded that it wasn't and this morning i got the revised tune.
it only caused a minor delay, no big deal. they need to fix that, though

I wonder why that's so common on the 15-17 clutches
Pretty sure that's an Exedy clutch in the picture, unless you meant Exedy clutches for the 15-17 specifically.

Oh I see, I didn't look close enough. I've noticed the stock clutch does that often where the friction surface completely separates like that. It's an odd failure mode

Not so odd a failure mode…. Having the stock and Exedy clutch go in the same way.
The Organic material of both are not happy with 7k plus changes and heat.
I’m learning there a fine balance between a power clutch RXT twin for instance and a single whether organic or Cerametallic (if that’s even a word)being used for track duty.
I am going for the Cerametallic this time around. The Exedy has been good for 4 years and some 20 track weekend events. With the upgrade to material I hope the sudden failure can be avoided. Talking to Beefcake, this should be the case.
Will take a few days for shipping, flywheel skim and install, followed by the break in before I can judge the feel.

For Info.. the car is GT PP NA with mods and tune taking RWHP to 430, so not extreme, but enough for road course duty.

Gotcha. You have a lot more experience and are going harder than me if you benefit from that aero you've got on there.

What headlamps are those?

Does that hood cool well or is it just for looks? GT500-style bumper definitely looks like it lets in more air.

Headlights are Axiom LED from American Muscle.
After a tire wall incident 18 months ago, I had to rebuild the front end from Axle forward. Which included hood and fenders.
The GT500 front is for the amount of air passing through the front end. Temps dropped by 15 deg when on track..
The smaller side vents normally for Oil coolers are used as pass through to vents which direct airflow through the wheel liner to custom cooling plates for brake cooling. Never have brake fade again..!
The hood is a bit 50/50.. looks and flow.. it must be doing something to support the ECT drop, with the hood latches fitted I get very little hood buffet at speeds 130+ like the stock hood did (even with trackspec venting).

Overall I’m happy with the functionality, the look and balance of aero.

Weighted shift knob from shiftsolutionsco.com. Haven't been able to drive with it yet, weather sucks today, but even moving through gears while stationary feels better. (Don't mind the white stuff, having a husky means fur goes everywhere, even where the dog never is.)

I painted my engine cover to match the paint. Came out pretty decent. Makes the engine bay pop.
