i couldn't tell you, but get it tuned beyond the ford tune that it comes with and you should see an increase. Wengerd said he can tune the power packs, so that's what i will be doing.
do you have ethanol there? if you do, that's where you will see a good bump in power
i never ran it for times with the PP2, since i did not have it on that long.
Ford Performance says it will add 21 HP.
my best gain is with E85 and a lighter tire and wheel setup.
do you have access to Ethanol fuel there?
at the time, Palm Beach Dyno couldn't really tune it for E85, that is the only reason why i went back to stock. since then, i contacted Wengerd and he says they can tune the power packs...that will be my next stop soon. i might just put it back on and run 91 octane until then....
the one...
except that it is not offered. the 87mm TB is.
then there's beefcake racing that has them for $1900.... F that. i remember the last time i saw them on the ford performance site, they were in the 600 range and beefcake triples that.
did i miss something? the power pack 3 has been discontinued, but why?
no one is carrying them. i found one used gt350 IM and TB on ebay, but that's it.
i have the power pack 2 sitting in a box right now (installed and uninstalled) i was wanting to get the IM and have wengerd tune it
my issue is that cd album art and metadata is not working...i just get track 1, track 2 and so on.
i just updated to the latest using cyanlabs...i did a cyanlabs update last year and same thing...i think it has something to do with gracenotes.
i forgot to update this
i went with
295/35R19 19x11 in the rear
275/40R19 19x10 in the front
SVE357 wheels
Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02's
these tires hook really good
got this set up last year, did a 0-130 run with a Dragy on the street
4.35 0-60
12.44 1/4 mile
0-130 17.65
60-130...
What parameters are you all monitoring?
i have long term fuel trims, banks 1 &2
coolant temp, rpm
lamse banks 1 & 2
measured lambda banks 1 & 2
what should i be monitoring?
Just got the car back from a ford dealer for a coolant leak and this appears when in reverse on the back up camera display and there is a solid audible tone, then the tone stops upon switching to Park. i have never seen this before.
P.S. the dealer overfilled the coolant reservoir by a full pint
Back in March, I had a 920AM appointment on the 80K dealer service menu (oil and filter change, multi-point inspection, fluid top off, and a few more things) I got the car there at 9AM. i opted to take a Lyft home and they would deliver the car to my home when done. I was watching the status...
daily driver with some spirited driving
i'm open to going to a strip, but not making it a regular thing...so, yeah mostly street use.
the ride now is kinda harsh on some of these roads and freeways. when i drive on certain areas on the freeway, it sounds rough, like a clunking noise..hard to...
i do not want to lower the car at all. i just want to replace the stock shocks and struts with aftermarket. a couple of the kits i saw are for lowered cars.
i'm looking at replacing the rear shocks, rear springs and struts.
do i need to replace the rear springs?
use my old strut springs?
i, too had a negative experience with PBD and i was also left hanging. they even got the base tune wrong for what i had installed, which was the ford performance power pack 2. they did not factor in the larger throttle body. their initial menu for your tuning options had a field where you can...
I was not trying to chase the 60 - 130. Since I was doing a 1/4 mile run, I thought I'd push it to 130 for curiosity. I just want to know if my car is on par.
I'd like to think that the lighter wheels and e85r tune made a significant difference.
I could not hook on the street with my previous...
I had the Ford performance power pack 2 installed (GT350 throttle body and cai) and was in the middle to near end of datalogging when the tuner said the GT350 throttle body was more trouble than its worth, so i switched back to the stock throttle body and air intake and started from scratch...
