Sorry Ray I’m gonna ask more questions 😁! E85 obviously since you are running a return and dual hellcat pumps and who is the tuner?
E85 of course. My car is being custom tuned by Papini's Garage. They are very reputable guys. They have a DynoMite dyno that will break your heart so 800whp on that means something. Their Shop drag car S197 puts down 1627WHP and now they are currently switching to bigger turbos.

Good deal! So with a 105 mm you should see 13 possibly 14 psi and you will be at the 800 mark if everything plays out correctly. You can get the boss but I don’t think the money spent for it would be worth it and you could spend that in other places such as suspension, drag wheels and tires. Just my 2 cents and I have contemplated changing IM’s many times and ultimately I’m spending the money in other places until I really need something like a plazmaman IM or a Jays IM ( I think that’s what it is). Definitely way better ways to spend money and get all that power to the ground. Either way can’t wait to see what you do, the numbers you produce and the kill’s you get under your belt!

Cars suspension is dialed in. Not really into drag racing, I like braking and turning left and right. Running 19x11s and 305s square. Half roll cage, racing seats, lots of carbon accents, some areo, everything pretty much done besides boost. I call her LUCIFER aka LUCI

LUCI is an absolute beauty! Ray it’s your money good sir and if you feel it will be beneficial then do it! As some one said on the FB group you will have to do a little bit of fab work but nothing crazy to make it work. I’d honestly like to see real world numbers ie: track times or dyno numbers to see if the boss make a difference on an ESS setup!

Thank you, if I decide to do it I will definitely do a back to back comparison

If I can on my next dyno I’d like to do a pull with an intake and then a pull with just the turbo guard on and see the different results . No matter what it’s about bettering the community!

Mark I’m just glad you finally have your car back! Just please do me a favor and don’t get kicked out of Shawn’s group even thou I’m sure it would take a lot for that. 🤣
Now to fix some other little nagging issues and get that tune dialed in, then drop to the 105mm Pulley!!! 800+HP here I come!!!!

Time permitting I am going to do that comparison as well. Ordered a custom turbo guard

Mark I realized the other day when I sold you the 105 I didn’t offer you the belt also. Did you want the belt for it? I have a brand new one that came with it.

Thanks, I will try this out. Not sure I want to try and start it again until I hear back from my tuner. Since I have no way of datalogging right now I do not think it would be wise to keep running it.

For peace of mind they do make MAF cleaner

@Bonedizzle so the highest rpm you got to was 980 @ 3.59 lb/min. On my first log (after kit was installed )a 4k rev at 973 rpm’s I was at 1.53 lb/min. So the two are definitely way off. I was at 2769 rpm’s when my maf finally read 3.56 lb/min.
Ok so something is definitely off. I will wait to hear back from my tuner.

Also, had a guy on here had his MAF tube in backwards, Maf was right way but tube was 180 out. I'm assuming that yours isn't, but couldn't hurt to check in the interim?

I installed the kit.

One note on the MAF. I had to reroute my expansion tank hose and some coolant got on the steel tube the MAF sits in. I took the MAF out and there was a small amount of coolant that was on it (the plastic body, not the wire/transistor thing) that I wiped off. Could I have contaminated the MAF?

I was hoping someone could read their log and see if MAF frequency at idle is matching what my log is showing.
Pulling wet air across the MAF sensor will actually cause it to read incorrectly and will potentially damage it. I ended up replacing mine because it got wet and it would intermittently go into limp mode. I recommend buying a new MAF sensor which should resolve your issue. You can try cleaning it with the cleaner someone else has linked, which is what I was originally going to do, but I didn't want to spray the cleaner on the plastic housing around the sensing element.

Small world! I am in Temecula myself. I've been on their Dyno a few times.
