You can get the gauge pods that go in the vents like where my boost gauge is to replace your two gauges if you'd like. But i totally understand that takes away from the whole Saleen thing so there's that. But it's up to you of course
Nothing goes in your OBD port, the big plug is in the back of the steering wheel then the other box plugs into that. Then you plug the box into the HUD or it may be prewired on the other end i don't entirely remember.
Then all of the information it's entirely contained within the HUD and the...
It works entirely off the plug in the steering column. You have to route the wire up to the top part of the dash and then find a place to mount the box. I didn't bolt mine down it's just floating
so I'll say it's definitely nice to have but there's some cons to it.
install was super easy, the display brightness varies sometimes on its own, the tach readout is cool. I said you could see it on a sunny day, this is only the case if you have the little reflective film on the windshield they...
thread-jacking here kinda, anyone experience being locked out of first or reverse, car on, car off, clutch in, clutch out, new clutch/pilot/fluid, couldn't get out of my garage without rolling forward in 3rd cuz 1st and 2nd were locked out too. maybe broken MT82? cars a 15
yes, just got a good test today, weather is really nice up here today and the reflective film like shades it over, you might have to turn up the brightness to see it better in daylight without the reflective strip tho. but on brightness level 9, it's pretty bright
it's sync 2 with a wall paper directly from this forum sized to the exact pixels needed for it to be perfectly split on the screen for use with the sync 2 infotainment
all,
here is a link to it and it is good to use with 18+ cars as well.

there's speed warnings, gear indicators for autos, temp warnings in celsius, not sure how to get it to read farenheit, you can see the RPMs right...
So as it turns out, we can actually get a HUD aftermarket for our cars. It's nowhere near as good as factory installed ones in cars like GM but it's quite good. I5autohaus sells it and I'll try to get the link to post here.
You have to put some reflective film on your windshield to only see one...
as far as i know not yet, they just got into making a kit for the S197 mustangs, so i'm sure they're planning on expanding more into the mustang market in the future. But at the very least, we know the coyote is very capable of boost. not sure if the same can be said for the v6 engine? they may...
aight, this one is simple.
DO buy yourself an ESS kit, they're fantastic and work great in cold weather
DO follow the pulley instructions in red on the ESS page
DO listen to credible sources of info like Brevin, he has always given me good insight even when i never intended to buy an ESS (i have...
Then definitely check that one out. The standoff blocks are machined directly into the flywheel and are cut in such a way so that as the clutch rotates, it cools down the assembly like fan blades.
My stock clutch saw quite a lot of abuse but still looked great when we pulled it out. I went with the Vengeance stage 2 twin disc from Beefcake racing mostly because i was chasing a dyno number and i felt like my stock was slipping ever so slightly on harder launches.
Definitely check your gauge versus a manual hand pump pressure tester. Mine is typically 2psi low but seems higher this time of year or i hit 14psi on the dyno the other day 🤣🤷‍♂️
Mine doesn't hit 12psi until about 7800rpm but it's a centrifugal not a PD like yours.
I'm trying to get a full time WFH job now myself. Then you can just drive the car whenever you want to as a treat. Doesn't have to be a "chore" going to work in it 🤷‍♂️
Yeah man me too, between that and the fact that we've covered everything from wheels to exactly how they make the supercharger, I'd say we've covered just about everything in this thread 🤣🤣🤣
I had 620rwhp with a slippy clutch. Haven't been back to the dyno yet but my setup is quite close to yours. I would guess about 650rwhp is accurate. I basically just round and say 700. But i don't specify wheel hp when people ask verbally. I'm sure with the new clutch I'm pretty close to 700...
