The look really, really nice and cozy. Maybe you should get some of these. Also rear mats are not standard with our cars.

😂

Ahh OK thanks for clarifying that part. Obviously because no one is meant to go in the back I guess. haha.

My Brother bought me some new car mats for Christmas. :)

Seems to be no choice for official RHD mustangs so had some custom ones made. They are darker charcoal than the pictures make out (I guess it is how the light hits them). I'm pleased. A lot thicker than the rubbish I had in the front from when I picked the car up. And it never came with any in the rear (is that normal?). Just need them to take shape and settle in properly.

They do look comfy, you now need them special driving moccasins with little grippie stud thingies on the heel to keep your feets planted in the corners!

So i had previously replaced all my factory speakers with aftermarket ones. Today i modded my rear deck panel. I got the idea from others on the forums about opening up the deck panel over the speakers so its not muffled. Was just something to do on a cold day

Steeda has a year end sale so, ordered non adjustable pro action struts/shocks, ultralite springs, shock mounts, 1/8 spring spacers.

agree.. i was hoping to make it through winter... if i would have put self tapper in where poles meet i may have been ok. It came loose there and went bad from there... i was able to see it on security cam... As far as ive seen no damage but wont know till it melts...15 today and 60 by sat so ill wash and make sure.
I don't even think self tapping screws would have prevented what has happened. Too much wind/air got under it and it just lifted the whole thing.

The only way I can think of that would have prevented what happened would have been:
- put cinder blocks around the pole bases
- use the old fill 1-Gal. milk jugs with water trick; using long rope, tether those to the top poles in strategic locations so that would have put tension across the whole unit, acting as a weight system to prevent a lifting event.

The milk jug trick also works with outdoor car covers - tether 1 full jug at each corner to prevent the cover from lifting or blowing off.

I had 5gl buckets full of water attached to the 4 corners w/rachet straps, they are still connected to the poles..lol. i can see on the security vidjea that it was blowing up and disconnected at the middle where poles meet. suck but at least no damage. i think im getting this... https://www.lowes.com/pd/Arrow-12-ft-x-20-ft-Eggshell-Metal-Carport/1000362453

Today/Tomorrow I get back my '19 GT after 4 months that had been run over by a semi-truck. And apparently I get the opportunity to hand D&V my brand new '22 Eco Brittany Coastal for a front bumper re-paint that I discovered this morning. Curtesy some ass-wipe who can't drive. I wonder when Geico is going to drop my policy.

If that is the only damage I think I would take care of that on my own. find a body shop and find out what the cost would be and tell them it will be done out of pocket.

the unofficial quote I got from an estimator (didn't tell him whose insurance I have) was $8-900. Which includes a new bumper I reckon because it's all the way thru the paint and into the plastic. I'm going to ask D&V if they can just sand it back smooth and repaint/blend say 1/3 of the bumper and if so, how much. I doubt I'm going to save much though. Brittany is a 3-part color like Velocity and quite rare compared to any other color.

Hmm, maybe I can pull a fast one and tell Geico it's a GT500 so I need a GT500 bumper? :)
