Today, I replaced my rear side marker lights with smoked LED assemblies.

That's cool - what brand is that which has the Mustang on it?

This morning I put my stripe kit and quarter window decals on. First time doing a stripe kit, so it may come off later and get redone. Loving the look of the car now though.

I did not install them per their video instructions. I did a dry install. In my experience, trying to install them wet makes it way too difficult

Oh nice, thanks!
No problem. I like them. But, if I did it again, I'd just get the single line or double line of LEDs and not the pony design. There just isn't enough detail unless you are close to it. Like, you can't really tell what it is. Yes, it's on a mustang, so it's likely a mustang and that's what people will see, since they assume that. But, to me it looks like it has no legs and is just a floating, deformed, duck... or something.

Wandered down to the garage to hook up the new CTEK charger. Frustrated. It's connected and working. Used the fuse box connection and ground point on strut mount. Even wrapped it all up nice in tubing. Last step...put the fuse into the holder on the harness. Dropped it. Can't find it. Put a different fuse in and will pull the belly pan with a jack tomorrow to look further.

The car flashed lights a few times while making the connection at the fuse box, but that's expected. Some of the memory items, like the alarm settings, etc had to be reset.

Here's why I'm frustrated. In the winter, the GT will park under the lift with the RT/10 above. I can't open the hood enough by myself to connect the charger without pulling the car almost to my toolbox. So, while I'm looking for the fuse, I need to find a spot to drop the CTEK extension cord under a bit that I can hook up....and move the car back.

Connecting directly to the positive & negative battery terminals is just fine for charging. It is urban myth that it has to be via fuse & negative ground point.
If you want easy connectivity, permanently mount CTek's extension or DIY wiring on the battery & have the CTek plug sitting in the grill or poking out of the hood near the windscreen.

Thanks…. I did get the extension, just need to find a place to put it.
I’m ok with how it’s wired, just need to sort the best way to access with the hood down. I did tie the charger end of the eyelits cable to the little hole at the end of the fuse box

If it’s a fit once and leave it in place for a reasonable amount of time scenario, there’s room to feed the extension down the side of the engine under the strut brace and it will drop out under the car :

Once you’ve done it once and found the route, it’s quite easy and quick to repeat :like:
