How do you mouse proof a stored car?
I've had problems with them in the past

Strut tower brace and cowl brace installed. Then took it for a drive to Starbucks, all the baristas came to the drive up window to check out the car. I was actually kinda surprised they were interested in it.

He used to race professionally decades ago. Sadly these pics where taken around 2015 , its nearly all been sold off now. He's pretty deep into his 80s. Just can't control them anymore.

It's sad. Yet I'm so happy to have recovered these pics again!

Washed the car and gave her a quick aqua coat. No way was I doing a full wax. Too cold and damp.

Can I ask, what is this in the drain holes please? I was drying the inner door and seals, and I thought it was rust at first, but it is only on the drivers side door. Passenger side is all clean. I was tempted to hook it out with a small screwdriver.

Washed it this past Sunday. First week of ownership!

Got on it hard on jones beach parkway from a 40 roll and God bless my mustang it actually scared the hell out of me. Oh I love this car.

How do you mouse proof a stored car?
I've had problems with them in the past

I start the storage season by doing a deep clean/purge of my garage, getting rid of any food sources or hide spots before it gets cold. I also look for any holes/entry spots and plug them. After that, I'll place mint bags around the jackstands, exhaust pipes, and one in the car.

I'm still active in my garage throughout winter, so I'll occasionally check for signs of mice as well.

In preparation for the arrival of some custom leather seats, (nothing radical...perforated centers, stitching to match the paint) I scored a set of perforated leather door panels on EBay (didn't know these existed, have only seen solid leather until now)and dyed the stitching to match the paint. May have to do another round of dye, didn't get quite as dark as I wanted.

Finally deleted the resonator in favor of a H-pipe. I painted the welds with some high temp exhaust paint. Figured it couldn’t hurt

I went from the Roush axle back that I got tired of, too loud for me, to the Ford performance touring axle back, too quiet then added the H-pipe to go along with it. Perfect. Only a tad louder. No where near as loud as the Roush. Just right, imo

Got a set of McGard lug nuts since my Ford Performance ones are already beat to shit after like two services, lol. Same crappy pressed on cap design. McGard ones are much nicer, and seem to be pretty durable. One of the packages ripped open suddenly and they bounced all over my concrete driveway and sustained basically zero damage, so that's a good sign.
