Today I did the noise tube removal. What a hateful thing.

I got one of the firewall plugs, #W651016S300. I had a couple caps that would fit the intake and FWIW, they look exactly like the cap used in one of the "kits". I used a zip tie as a clamp. (Yes, the "buckle" part was moved underneath.

I removed the nut from underneath with a flexible head 10mm ratchet wrench. At one point, I swapped over to a socket and universal joint.

My OCD had me put a thread protector cap on the stud where the nut was.

I went for a short ride, and the cabin does seem quieter. For sure, all the noise is now coming from the back which seems more natural to me.

installed "AIR DESIGN" splitter over original base splitter to balance aero after installing gt350 track pack rear spoiler.the 1st and 2 nd pics are the "air design" and the last one is the original splitter.adds at least 1.75 in in splitter surface, perhaps a tad more than the current "pp-1" splitter.

Missing Vortech parts came start of the week. Yey! Also received oil filter so I can finally do the oil change however it is damaged slightly. Superficial? Or would you not risk using it? The rest of the filter looks fine.

That is an impressive amount of work for bearings… don’t suppose you’ve been able to drive the car at all since they’ve been installed?
Rolling down the highway yesterday…all good and happy camper here

A few weeks ago did the seatbelt shoulder upgrade with the rigid ones. Much better.
Can you tell me a bit more about this please? Thanks.

Went for a drive and Formulated a plan.
Spent 45 minutes at Tricky Performance speaking with Nick discussing what’s next. Sounds like LTH, full 3” AE exhaust H pipe with cats, E85, 91 and flex tunes, MGW shifter, 1 piece DS, a bunch of Steeda chassis parts with dual rate springs. Now I just gotta start sourcing the parts and get on the schedule
