Okay, it's in, not a big deal at all. It''s a bit too tall for a perfect fit and if you replaced the negative terminal with a side-clamp nut the top cover would fit even better.

Well, they were on Sale over Labor Day and my car gets regular use so I wanted something that was like a regular battery with high capacity.
Yes, they are expensive but if they last twice or three times as long as conventional and it's 18 pounds off the front axle, I think it's worth it (I'm a track junkie, so any weight loss is appreciated).

Test drive: Spins the starter quite a bit more rapidly than stock battery, other than that, no other differences or problems noted.

That’s the problem these days - and from the whole fiasco with the “chip shortages”, one would have thought that was a wake up call that we should be doing more manufacturing HERE than farming it out….

But I’m curious too, what batteries are made 100% here?

300 will get you an OEM battery lol.

if you deal with extreme temps I wouldn’t recommend it either

I forgot about this thread.

move been continually working on updates to my Carbon Fiber 3D printed battery tray. Total weight with strap is 209 grams.

Advancements in filament and software has given different options in the final product. Here are a few shots.

Note the finger hole so that you can reset the battery button

This tray will accommodate an Antigravity ATX-20HD
