Hey Cobra Jet, surprisingly it wasn't rolled lol. More of a head on driver side oriented crash to the wall that finished with a side swipe. Only the knee airbag went off. The car still runs, but I have a LONG road ahead of me to get it where it was.
Wow - yea, glad you're ok/safe and not injured - any hard touch off the wall like that is always a cringer....

I saw you started a rebuild thread; I'll keep checking that one out for your progress.

Are you tapping salvage yards or this site for replacement sheet metal and other needed parts? Also eBay, and LKQ are good sources too - especially color matching used parts. Check out the "Parts Farm" too, they're a Mustang salvage group and usually have quite a bit of parts.

Finally found time to machine polish the bonnet. Weather was perfect. No wind, a bit cloudy and not too hot. Had some annoying holograms and webbing and few fine scratches.

Just did one pass with Chem Guys V36 on a Hex Logic Green (all rounder) pad - came up alright I think. After that, I gave her a wash and a coat of Fusso King of Gloss. :sunglasses:

Then my dad started to wash his Audi and asked me to wax it too. 🥵 Kona Blue vs Turbo Blue, mid wash. :)

Replaced dash emblem. Took 10 seconds with a small plastic pry bar. Read other horror stories where you had to disassemble the dashboard.

Lol. Yeah we’ve had so much rain and humidity lately.

Man, I wish my skills were that good! But credit where credit is due, that isn't my shot - it came from the Rally's Facebook site. But it definitely is your car 😉
Just giving ya credit for finding it before me .lol

Someone helpful decided to redecorate and rearrange the front. Preview of S650 perhaps? Maybe the plastic was getting a little faded in the sun I guess. The benefits of on-street parking...

Off to Walmart for some duct tape, Bondo and a small tub of wax. I've been told it'll buff right out.

Do I now start shopping for a mach 1?

We'll get that fixed up in a couple hours. I'll bring some playdoh and Elmer's glue.

Did some detailing, inside and out. The back seats get so dusty lol, but it sucks climbing back there when you're 6 foot +. Love this car though. Enjoying the last few weeks of warm weather; up in the mountains I can feel the change of season right on the doorstep...
