Man that looks good. What was the cost?
This was last year so they may charge more now for shipping.
The cost of the hood painted was $1469.98.
Cost of shipping- $95.00
Total: $1564.98 (no sales tax was charged)

The carbon fiber hood that I really like costs $2000 just for the hood. Then I would have the cost of having it painted, stripes applied and the shipping cost, plus the wasted money from going with the Cervini. But I have to warn you the fiberglass hood is really heavy and that is why I'm toying with the idea of getting the carbon fiber.

Since I don't do any work on this car like I used to do on all my past cars I just made an appointment to get all three fluids changed.

At 48K miles I am going to do the Trans and Diff fluids this time around.

I've got the ram air hood and they painted it Need for Green. Didn't need any blending and the fit was good. Only problem is the hood is really heavy. I'm looking at carbon fiber now but I would have to have it painted at a shop around here.

This looks great!! Really spot on color wise from the picture. Might take a chance.

The cost for the Cervini's GT500 Style Heat Extractor Hood is 1096.00 plus 570.00 painted (J7 Magnetic Metal) add the paint for louver 150.00 and 95.00 Freight shipping. Almost 2k to your door.
Got some local quotes and they all said that’s a good price on paint.

Has anyone purchased a Cervinis 1245 GT500 Style Heat Extractor Hood for their 18+ gt that came pre painted? My color would be the J7 Magnetic Metal. If so how did it come out? Went to local shop and they said that’s a great price on the paint.
Thanks!
I did not order a hood but side scoops on my royal crimson 18. The paint matches so perfectly its insane they could do it with a tri stage pearl. However i seen the gt500 style hood in person and it has a weird mis match where it meets the front bumper. The hood has a significant down turn to meet the bumper. You can see it on this one i seen in my color at mustang week.

I did all of them at 30k. Plan to do again at 60k then 100k. Felt incredibly smooth for a thousand miles

Diff fluid was surprisingly in great shape at 30k

I waited a little longer as I drive spirited but don't track or anything.

I may do it again at 70K as the car gets older.

I can appreciate that, I’m in the same boat. The hardest part is finding somewhere around here that will take old fluids, especially oil. A lot of places won’t touch them because they don’t know if there’s anything else in them. At least that’s been my experience. Happy to pay someone to do it now anyways, just don’t have the time like I used to either.

I buy my oil at WalMart....they take the old oil here.

Yea thanks for this! I see what you are talking about. This is a Picture of an actual 500 I’m assuming? Since cervinis listing is “GT 500 style” hood I wonder if it’s designed to mimic the look but fit the GT. I better call them first to verify.

Prep for track event at Summit Point this weekend.

Wanted to see what all the Amsoil hype is about so I changed engine, diff, and trans to all Amsoil.

Note that my clutch and brake reservoir are divorced, I switched to SRF brake fluid and flushed the system including ABS block.

Installed Vorshlag rear tow hook. Meant for quad exhaust but this will do for now.

Went to a shop to have my hood latches finished

Thinking about installing the front tow hook tomorrow but I don’t feel like drilling for hours into the crash bar.
