@Jagular35 you should post your build info in your signature so we can see it. Where are you getting yours from?
I ordered the 600A, Tremec 6spd, handling pack in race red in April 2022 from Hansel Ford in Santa Rosa. I was given a blend date of August 8th but found out it was bumped up to Aug 2nd. Hoping for soon 🙏

I couldn't get straight answers or lock in prices at Silicon Valley Dealers. They really semmed they weren't that interested in dealing with me. The sales teams and even managers knew way less than I did about Mustang and especially Mach1 details, allocations and the ordering process.

Example: When I started talking about discounting MSRP they said they couldn't do that on a "limited" model, and they weren't even sure they could place my order. I really think they were saving allocations for "price is no object" kind of people, of which their are tons of, in the valley.

I saw Granger's 2% Under Invoice thread on here, I checked with others here and raving posts. I found out they are legit, really know their stuff and go out of their way to make things happen for their customers. They deal with out of state buys all the time and have made things simple so far for me.

To sum up, I'm getting a killer deal from Granger, many thousands, Under MSRP, well worth the trip, We're making it a road-trip vacation/adventure, and I'm getting really excited about it.

Hope that helps.
Traxii, I ordered from The FordStore in Morgan Hill (I’m San Jose).. only msrp around, as you said, others in valley ask outrageous markups. Didn’t get under msrp like you but I only have 15 min ride (maybe Uber) to pick up. Can’t blame you for taking trip - in nice ride. Maybe I’ll see you in Valley!

Well, this order has still not been scheduled, but I have MY mustang. Story is kind of weird, but worked out in the end.

On July 23rd, Zach from Granger posted that they had some Mach 1s available from customers who had backed out. Saw the 2021 Velocity Blue with Whipple Supercharger and reached out to them - not the color I wanted, but heck, supercharger. On Monday, July 25th, I spoke with Andrew at Granger about the 2021 and said I'd take it. Made an appt at my credit union to get the check drawn for the following day, Tuesday the 26th.

As my wife is sitting in the parking lot of the credit union 30 minutes before our appt (and I'm preparing to leave work to meet her) I get a call from Andrew that the 2021 was sold. No more mustang. I call my wife, let her know and she heads in to let them know to cancel the appt since the car was sold under us.

Not 15 minutes later, Andrew calls me back and says that my exact build (which I had sent him the original DORA from Chapman) just rolled off transport and the original customer had cancelled.

Called the Mrs back and told her - as she was in the middle of talking to the credit union's manager about cancelling the appt. Took us 2 minutes to decide to do it, so I call Andrew back and have him send me all the information for the car. Appointment still on - got the check! No supercharger, but that saved me a few grand for now until I add one.

That night we booked two flights out to Iowa for Thursday the 28th. Started our Thursday at 4 am. Baltimore - St Louis - Des Moines. Uber to Granger to do a quick spin in the Mach 1, sign some paperwork. Uber back to Des Moines (wasn't even at the dealership an hour). Des Moines - St Louis - CHICAGO - Baltimore - Home at 1 am Friday Morning.

Arranged a covered transport while waiting for one of the connecting flights. Car picked up Monday, August 1st and arrived at my office on Thursday, August 4th.

5/5 for Granger - I'm not going to place blame on anyone about the 2021 Whipple Supecharger - shit happens. But they made the whole process super easy - especially since I have never purchased a vehicle out of state from a Dealer (private party - yes, many times, but never a dealer). I'd do it all again - fly out and everything, if and when my wife decides she wants something new.

I paid MSRP for the car and I have it now - I don't care about the 3% under MSRP invoice from Chapman because I would still be waiting, and at this rate, probably never receive the car.

IF I get a scheduled date or anything for my order through Chapman, I'll be sure to post it to let ya'll know one will be available.

Happy belated birthday to me! And thanks to everyone on the forum - all the best to those of you still waiting.

BTW, It s 3% under INVOICE (not MSRP)? Way back it was 4% under invoice. (Chapman)

My bad. Typed a small book and didn't proof-read it all.

Regardless, they've burned a lot of bridges over not honoring the price protection. I'd rather fly from Baltimore to Iowa instead of driving the 2 hours it would take me to get to Chapman (which is why I originally ordered from them in the first place, because they were closer)

I am on board with getting it at MSRP now and not waiting till later for 3% or even 4% under invoice. I ordered in Feb in order to avoid some of the coming increases. Chapman not honoring this has me second guessing my order, not to mention interest rates in the 6 months since I ordered.
EDIT - if I could find my build or very close to it, perhaps even in a color like EG I would abandon ship on my order today

Probably your best option if you’re on the east coast and looking for a new car!
I've purchased two Jeeps from them since last year.
The transactions on those were a breeze.
Everything done beforehand, and delivery was quick and easy.
But that was the Jeep store.

I know Tom also sells Fords, so they were my first stop to place my M1 order.

But still no movement or info on my order with them.

@Jagular35 Same experience here in Marin/Sonoma. The manager at Novato Ford did not even want to take my order, claiming the order bank was closed (that was September last year). Saw the Granger thread here and the rest is history. Wow, almost a year ago now. Time goes fast and @traxiii must be meditating every day in order to be so patient

FORD just sent me another great e-mail saying my Mach 1 has been shipped!!!!!! :):handsinair::clap::thumbsup::clap:

Expected at Granger between 8/11 - 17/22. That shipping time seems a little optimistic, but that's OK with me as long as it gets there.

Time to finalize the road trip plans!! :)

Good luck to all of you with your orders!!

I feel lucky that my car has been built and "should" be dropped off to Granger in the next couple days. I'm not sure what I'd be doing if that weren't the case. I knew it was going to take a while to get mine built because I ordered 2 "Late Availability" items (Eruption Green and Handling Pack) but had no idea I wouldn't be getting it until August.

Financially it is working out nice, as I have been able to purchase most of the Mod. parts I'm planning on adding, and they're sitting in my den, ready to be installed. I am soooo ready!

I’ve gone back and fourth on the washing cause I wanted to tape up a few areas for the drive home. I’m also having street alignment done as I’ll have a 500 mile drive home
will a Ford dealer do the street alignment or will they only align it to factory specs?

I asked Granger to do the street alignment specification. They said they could do it but there will be a charge and that's OK with me.

did they say how much? I should have had them do it, but I kinda wanted to see what it was like from the factory, will have to get it done at local dealership now.
