I feel the same way, anything openly admitting to any form of tracking gets eliminated. I don't see any advantage to having that app on my phone.Today I read the entire Terms of Service for the FordPass app. I am not a big fan surveillance and the violations of our privacy common since 2001. I have disabled Onstar in previous vehicles. Allstate once offered me a discount if I would allow them to install an electronic package that tracked my driving habits. I declined. I am trying to decide whether the features that FordPass offers is worth giving up my privacy for. I have a manual transmission, so remote start is not an option. Is remote lock/unlock useful? All the info displayed on the app can be accessed from the driver seat. Car location could be useful, but I wouldn’t want anyone else to have access to that info. Thoughts?
