Pollen season winding down, was more than a wash job .... clay bar worked wonders getting paint smooth again.

New Makita cordless polisher was awesome. Going from a porter cable (which is really great) I was surprised what I was missing. Makita is beautifully balanced, and a one handed machine on flat surfaces in random orbit. Really works fast on random orbit. In forced rotation mode you need 2 hands - can really feel the torque. On side panels, due to weight, its a 2 hander. Used 2 5AH batteries, one till it stopped, and one to 1 bar lit. Buffed slow and thorough, also another pad to apply ceramic based detailer. Back to a mirror finish,

5w30 Mobile 1.

Feels great getting something positive accomplished.

annnnd ordered Katskins cardinal red with black stitch and piping
likely a couple weeks before it gets here and I have time to get to it,

Got this piece of paper in the mail. It said “2022 no payments for you!” 😄

Drove by a grey Mach 1 this morning near Šebrov (Czech), haven't seen this color here yet, whomever was driving it (assuming they're a member here) - looks nice!

No, a dual-rate spring is solely designed to have two different spring rates throughout the entire coil pack. In turn, it allows the suspension compression to gradually compress through its compression cycle, giving a more stable and inspiring driving experience.

The Progressive Springs will have a constantly increasing rate, which relates to the spacing between each coil on the spring itself.

Let me know if I can help assist at tim @ steeda

Best Regards,

TJ
Thank you. So I have your progressive springs installed on the factory struts/shocks.

How big of a handling difference from the dual rate? Right now with progressive springs, ultralight g brace, and stop the hop enthusiast pair with 285s in the front and 305s in the back, the car (PP1) handles like a go kart...no lean at all.

2021 Mustang GT/CS,
I’m really considering taking off the GT/CS stickers on the side. I’m good with the grill and rear deck emblems.

i like the placement of the 22 GT/CS decals vs the 21. I've been on the fence about removing them on mine as well. However, as easy as it to remove them, I feel like im stripping part of the "c/s" package that... we paid a premium for. One day the wind might blow in the right direction and off they come.

Wasted an hour checking CJ Pony Parts and American Muscle for Memorial Day pricing on the Ford Performance front Brembo upgrade kit. No joy. Still priced at $1,385.

I'm on the fence about the decal...I like them both. Originally thought it would look tacky but its part of the Cali Special theme. I hardly notice mine anymore. Outside of changing the wheel lugs to black gorilla and ford performance shifter knob, I'm keeping mine stock.

Is it plug and play?
By definition, no. You need to cut the connectors off the factory harness, or de-pin the connectors, and small mods required to the sub to fix in the stock box. but with the few small modifications, it looks stock. There is a huge thread in the Infotainment & Electronics sub on here that talks through it all :)

Wow it's only $100? Shows how ripped off we are getting with the "electronics package" which I think was $2,100 and gets you B&O, BLIS and navi.

If it's that much of a sound improvement, I might do it too. I like to listen to music quite a bit, so that would be money well spent.
There are quite a few folks in the Infotainment & Electronics forum that have done the swap too and really enjoy the results.
