Kudos to you for having the tools to replace them for I know they were tight. For me, I didn't want to buy a bearing press so I had a local shop do mine. You did good.

I am trying to find anyone who has used the fulltiltboogieracing tool that is supposed to make this job much easier but cannot find anyone who has used it.

Man I tried Auto Zone Tool rental, Harbor Freight, I even bought a bearing, bushing removing tool kit from azon. None of the had large enough adapter for me to do them. Post the tool that works and pass on for the next person. They are Tight.

I stripped one of those trying. Use allot of anti size grease on the threads. I still stripped them. Post pics.

Good job. What tool did you use to remove the stock bushings?

This is all I used, my impact is rated to 700ft/lbs so that helped, don‘t use the 1 1/4 socket the instructions say to use, too small. 1 5/16 or 33mm impact socket with flat back works best (NAPA carries them). I used penetrating oil for an hour, cleaned everything up with brake cleaner, also had new bearings in freezer overnight. Remove and install from front to back of vehicle.

No I used another kit. What I was missing was the correct OD diameter sleeves with the same OD as the bearing used to press the bearing out, and I couldn't find a sleeve which had a ID for the other side for the bearing to slide into as it is pressed out. Just find a kit with sleeves which have the correct OD and ID to press them out. I just got tired of messing with it and removed the LCA and took them to a shop which had a bearing press. Imine we're just to tight to do on car. Good luck

That tool looks like a piece of 1/2" ready rod.
Its total garbage if it is.

I made something almost identical using ready rod.
Bushing didnt budge, and the ready rod threads stripped/stretched rendering it useless.
Got a puller with a tool steel threaded rod and nut. That worked, but still a lot of torque to break the bushing free. Also had a ball bearing as a thrust washer on the driving end.
You'll need every advantage

Will be picking up my 2019 GT350 Kona Blue on Monday as it's been rainy here in MA. Car will have its XPel PPF treatment and ceramic coating. Color shows great when done right. All set now afer adding a few Steeda/BMR chassis/suspension items. Will improve suspension and stiffen body structure necessitated by subframe design. Added a CAI to bring it up to 550 hp without impacting warranty. Should look and perform like a jewel now. I won't be tracking the car.
Will look good next to my two councours 1965 GT350's restored to perfection by Cobra Automotive, Inc.
