I bought the WRX for my son's high school graduation present and getting into his #1 university. He learned to drive stick on it. Thinking back......I should have promised it when he graduated college because "whew" he is having a hard time with those grades.

I bought 4 cars in 2019 and sold 3 of them 18mo later having spent decent $$$ mod'ing them. I agree it takes a few weeks to find the warts. Smiles/mile leader was the GTI by a healthy lead.
I had the opposite experience with my '17 GTI, I enjoyed it but it never "clicked" with me so it was gone within 10 months. I guess I could have thrown mods at it and enjoyed it more, but I think the main issue was that it was DSG. Great automatic, but not for me.

A cheap theft-proof is pull the Maxi 50 Amp starter motor fuse in the engine fuse box.
Put it in your pocket. When you come back to your car-put it back. No tools required.
Still worried, drill the junction out on a clean fuse, put that in when you are away.
Then there is no missing fuse. If they put rollers under the rear wheels and winch it
up on a tilt-bed, then it is just not your lucky day.

Now that is thinking out of the "fuze box"

my A10 overheated badly in I-95 traffic going < 2 mph and was dangerous and erratic. My M6 did just fine going along at a little over 2 mph on I-66 the other day.

I usually try to avoid ATL during the main traffic times. I did drive in a Christmas parade last year. I turned down the request for this year

Sorry, I sell my car privately every year. The market does NOT desire manual cars. The few people that do want manuals also want the car for next to nothing.

"The market does NOT desire manual cars" same is said for, 4dr compared to 2dr coupes .

Find it laughable, some poser, dumping a shifter, fooling all the boys at the car show....

vehicle was barely a few months old so probably not, but then again this is Ford we're talking about... After about 20 minutes at speed it cooled off and shifting and such returned to baseline.
