Research Thinkware and Blackvue. They are considered the best in, dash cams.

What dash camera did you buy? I've been thinking about get one for my DD and my wifes car.

picked up my gt/CS from dealer.
haven’t driven a stick on a daily basis since 1990
stalled out once leaving dealer lot. Babied it all the way home.
this is a lot of Coyote! I’m going to have to take it easy for a while 😁
Same scenario when I picked up my PP2 in May of 2018.
Took me a few drives to get the feel of a manual again.

Drove mine Sunday on twisty Alfalfa Market Road between Bend and Prineville, Oregon.
Rowed 2nd through 4th all the way, Gotta love the manual on the twisty roads!

Rip on it early. These motors prefer an aggressive break in ;)

The last stick I had was in 1990…..70 Torino Cobra 429SCJ with ram air, top loader 4 speed with tall hurst shifter. I’ll tell you, this makes my old cobra seem like a ecoboost! It was around 375hp but this is a whole different level! Still miss the cobra. Wish I kept it….biggest regret

What’s recommended break in for these coyotes?

I babied mine from 10 miles and didn't get on it hard until 1k miles. It took 10k miles after that to get to a reasonable level of oil consumption. When this topic was discussed last time, everyone that said they just did wot pulls from the get go (with oil up to temp of course) burned no oil. Therefore my conclusion is that using the car as intended and getting deep into the power and revs once in a while during breaking in is helpful.

Its the Tesla style sold by Phoenix auto, i bought it from a member on here. The threads here on these is 50/50. I think its cool, It is quirky at times but easy to use easy to install. Most complain on the AC controlls but i use auto so i dont have a need to adjust while driving, and it all works by voice.
I installed mine and no backup camera or sound. I fooled with it for a couple of days and shoved it back in the box, been there ever since lol
Looked at the new wipers I purchased 6 weeks ago.

I have a whole pile of parts I do this with. I look at them from time to time.

opened up the door of the ā€œvomit cometā€ today, still didn’t smell right. Time to take it to a professional.

I think CleanPro on Rt 40 in Glasgow could help you out. They do good work. Just my 2 cents.

I took it in to a shop, I used to be a regular at, to get an official 20k check up for the books. I do all of my own maintenance so I figured it's good for warranty reasons. He calls me after a few hours with "So why are you here? You realize there's absolutely nothing wrong with this, right?" I felt pretty good about that. We had a nice chat to catch up and he showed me his chevelle he's working on. That sucker runs the 1/4 in the mid 10s. It was beautiful.

I have those. They work very well.
Real Hockey pucs work too and cheaper on Amazon

I should say that I have 'jack rails' , so the pucs you show do work well for Mustangs without rails added.

What dash camera did you use?
How painful is the install?
What dash camera did you buy? I've been thinking about get one for my DD and my wifes car.
I have used Viofo A129 Pro Duo. You want the Pro (or another 4K), it really makes a difference trying to read license plates, especially at speed. The rear is "only" HD, the angle of the glass gives fair amount of glare, but I only have it to establish situation, if someone was tailgating, aggressive, etc.

It cost me $250, includes a hard-wire kit that enables recording on loop while car is parked.

I actually contacted their US support after buying it for my Bullitt and the guy threw in a $20 discount and a free anti-glare lens for the front, which was pretty nice.
I don't get kickbacks by any means, but I'm confident if I were to refer him couple more people, he'd swing a discount again.
I got it simply because I was a return customer for my wife truck's cam. I get nothing out of it, but will do my best supporting a good product and seller.
You guys let me know if I should try for you.

Install wasn't too painful.
Pried off fuse panel, there's enough room for the kit and there's a good ground bolt. I can check the fuse locations. Ran it up the side, carefully behind the airbag (you don't want the wires crossing it), under headliner into the tube for the rear view mirror wiring and it's mounted on right side of my rear view mirror, i.e. I don't even see it from my position in the driver's seat. Back cam was simple, run wire from camera back towards A-pillar, under trim and careful around curtain airbag. Then at the back the roofliner is held on by strong magnets, I pulled it down slightly, tucked in the leftover wire (there's a lot for a coupe) and then ran camera to back just below roof on the back window in the middle.

Fires up automatically upon starting, set to 2min loops I think, 128GB card lasts me for about 4-5hrs of fresh footage, easy to lock interesting/important footage. GPS mount enables speed and location, I dont use the wifi function, just pull the card to review footage.
Camera has capacitor, so more heat resistant. Parking mode pretty good.

I can look through my hard drive to see if I got good pics of the install, been 18 months but I might.

Back in the day I used to baby my cars during the break in period. And then when you decide to get on it and the seals are not seated properly that’s when the leaks happen. About 15 years ago I started breaking in my cars the way I would normally be driving them and I haven’t had any issues. If you’re going to drive it hard don’t baby it at 60 mph for 1,000 miles, make sure it hits 80+ or more every once in a while is my recommendation. That’s just my two cents being over 50 years old and owning a lot of sports cars.

Thanks, my cousin details cars so I’m going to give him a crack at it. If he doesn’t fix the problem I’ll call cleanPro and let them try.

Eh, seems like a lot of work with wiring. I wish someone would put out a decent wireless cam that lasts a while.

Huh? How would it last without charging?
Imagine your cell phone recording video the whole battery life. You'd get like 3 hours.
Plus batteries make it heat sensitive.

It really wasn't that hard.
