It is possible to have a loud exhaust and not piss of your neighbors. While not the loudest mine is pretty loud, but if I start it up early or late I normally keep garage door shut until it calms down and stay under 2k rpm in the neighborhood. It has some noise but shouldn't wake anyone up. Once out of neighborhood then it gets unleashed

It only for a minute or two, not long, remote start, open garage door as soon as I open door from house maybe once or twice a month (I work from home 60-80% of the time and rarely leave house before 9)

I'd add car parked backed in to the garage too. Combined with door shut starts on even the loudest setups can be mitigated. Cruise out of neighborhood and let her eat once on the main street.

Also cold starts on e85 are noticeably more tame than pump 91 so that helps too.

Well I have these arsehole neighbours that even complain about the dust on a windy day coming from my garden.
Real narcissists.
I make it a point to go past their house with exhaust open.
At any hour.
All the other neighbours do their bit too to pay tribute to the arseholes too.
