As someone who works in the automotive parts manufacturing industry (OEM) the chip shortage is still hitting hard. Some of our lines are still taking days out in a week and weeks out in a month because of lack of demand from the automakers (Ford/Chevy/Honda, etc.) This is not a few month thing...
No if you join the CS facebook group there are a good amount of race red CS'. From what I can tell looking @ some of the members paperwork it looks like they produce each color in pretty similar amounts 2-400 usually and make 2-4000 CS a year, but they haven't released data on anything since 2014.
When I was looking around to buy mine, all the supercharged Mustang's were going for at least 5-7k more than their N/A counterparts, so while you probably won't get the full payback you can recoup some of the cost as long as you're patient and sell it yourself. Dealers tend to dislike...
1) Yes it is. I haven't out mine on the dyno yet, but there are vids that show a 25-30HP gain solely from switching from 93 to E85 on a bolt on 18+.
2) My butt dyno isn't great, but on E85 with an auto in sport mode I usually don't get much wheel spin on 93, but I got some a bit of it on the...
I think both are great and really make the car howl. I went with the Roush H pipe and paired with axel backs and I love the sound and I get compliments on it at least once a week. I think what really matters is what you enjoy and we all have our personal preferences.
I own a white, and you will be washing it every day, not every weekend if you want to keep it clean. I would suggest a greyish/silver color if you don't want to wash it in my experience they stay clean easier.
IMHO air fryer should only be used for reheating not cooking, but I also almost always refuse to use a microwave so its a faster way for me to reheat leftovers
It only for a minute or two, not long, remote start, open garage door as soon as I open door from house maybe once or twice a month (I work from home 60-80% of the time and rarely leave house before 9)
It is possible to have a loud exhaust and not piss of your neighbors. While not the loudest mine is pretty loud, but if I start it up early or late I normally keep garage door shut until it calms down and stay under 2k rpm in the neighborhood. It has some noise but shouldn't wake anyone up...
Update from Charleston/Summerville area:
Ecoboost: 5 total, 1 premium
GT500: 2
Mach 1: 2
GT: 2 total, 1 premium CS
My closest dealer is currently turning cars/trucks sideways to make the lot look more full.
See now you just sound petty, I get maybe you don't appreciate the history, aesthetics, or appeal of the California Special, but someone who owns an Base Model GT calling the CS unremarkable????
You are talking like its a huge price jump when in all honesty its only 2K difference, so like a 4% increase in price for a car that sets itself apart from the rest. From what I can tell they only make about 2000 CS's a year and they hold the value of that extra 2k pretty well (meaning when you...
Do you have a pic from the rear and front. I'm looking at doing something similar, I want staggered with just a little of the rear sticking out and the front pretty flush with a slightly lower front as well with little to no camber.
I'm not sure if I like my tune from VMP. It has a really early shift from second to third which just feels a little weird, but it also has just the right amount of crackling on decel. I have an SCT and was about 2 months late to the ngauge Lund tune party (I went with exhaust first before...
Nope not one bit. Drove 6 different cars before deciding on my purchase and its not the every day mustang. Before the exhaust upgrade when I started it up it would put a smile on my face every day. Now it makes me giggle like a little girl half the time.
