Eating a stromboli in the mustang?!?
If the dining room is closed I use the drive thru and stand outside the car to eat. I can't even drive home with prepared food without the windows down until the stink is gone

Do you shave in the car? Eat Nature Valley bars? Bowls of cereal? Where does it end?

Ha, if crumbs land on me, I get out and shake off. but nah, my car is clean. I have those weather tech matts, and I have premium, so yeah easy peezy. I only drink water in the stand, well occasional fruit smoothie from Costco. me and gf honestly split the chicken bake, and split a fruit smoothie. today she wasn't here, so I ate the whole damn thing.

today was a war zone in the mustang, people flying 90-100 on peoples asses, shoving themselves between cars with no space, (primarily shitty beat up cars) that give no hell about cops. I hate those people, had some cut in front of me, then merged into a lane with a massive branch on the road and it broke up and almost hit me.

she was driving some beat up impala, which most are here.

saw a school bus almost run into a divider guard rail, are you kidding me. I think she was texting!

Agreed. NO hot food in my car unless it's in a sealed cooler. Just today, it was a DQ chili cheese dog combo. The shake went in the cup holder, the combo went in a sealed cooler.

I paid $3.59 yesterday for 91 octane in Kansas for the VW Golf. Driving it from CO to GA full of my tools to install a wood flooring.

Costco cost me 40 dollars to fill up today with 93..........

I think it was 2.97 a gallon. Jesus! its like 3.60 a gallon everywhere else

I can understand how it happens. I drive mine typically Friday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Some jerk (me) causes me to burn a half tank to 3/4 each of those three days ( usually without leaving town). There's been times I've refueled at Costco twice on the same day.

either you only dribble gas into your tank (ie. excuse to run the car and get out of the house) or you do like another forum member here and go on long random drives for the hell of it. Or you have a fuel leak and you're one lit cigarette away from needing a new house.

Noting wrong with the Cup2s, fun to drive on, I've considered the idea, when they wear.
The car not a DD, weakened warrior. So that may not be an option for yourself.

X pipe first month, having the car. Roush & Steeda good resources, my go to.

Couple ideas, low expense before to go for the bigger ticket items.
Have a look at the after market hood release. Great little add on often over looked. Another is the clutch return spring. I resisted thinking I'd get use to the Ford . Steeda has a more predictable clutch to flywheel engagement feeling.

Thanks! Already have the clutch spring in the works...just haven’t gotten my lazy ass under the dash to put it in. Also...not my daily...just a fun toy for the summer. Unfortunately in rains...a lot... here in Oregon. Needed some tires with a bit more tread in case we got trapped in a downpour on the way to the coast. Drove on the cup 2’s in damp conditions...not so good!
Any opinion on why an X pipe vs H pipe? Not looking for loud....just a bit more aggressive exhaust note...
What is the hood release you speak of? Put struts on it to get rid of the prop rod...but haven’t heard of the release...

lots of threads and YT videos ad nauseum on that in the appropriate section. X-pipe makes a staccato piercing 'raw' noise. H-pipe yields a mellow rumble tone which doesn't piss everyone off within earshot.

Have a look at Borla's Switchfire X pipe. Very nice!

filled up last night with our SUL, so ish your 93 and it cost £1.32 a litre so ish 1.70USDollar which is roughly 6.29USDollar for your gallon size (3.76 litres). I think the conversion rates are close enough? My brain could have fcked that up though it is 1.32UKPounds a litre here

Yep, I paid £1.46 a L just over a week ago for Shell V-Power (£5.53 / $7.70 US Gallon) ...

Wet, & dicey do understand .

Like the X pipe, intensifies the sound of a exotic, high revving V8. Notice I did not use the word louder, there is a difference. Active exhaust offers the loud .

Here is a quick tool repurpose to assist with the spring install.
HF, consumable.

I think we need a repurposing thread automotive specific, I know some have some great stuff made.

This replaces the under the dash hood release. Pull back instead of back and to the side.

When removing there is a round button black plug/cover. Save it covers the hole seen in the picture.
