Well took my mustang down south so my brother could help me finish making her into a proper beast. We did the whipple install in about 2 days, then Lund did an amazing job getting me through my remote tuning today despite all my datalogs showing severe traction issues ( rain did not help lol). After loading the final tune it was back on the lift for some BMR goodies. Got right side done and will do left tomorrow with a new alignment. Monday she hits the dyno.

Looking at your parts list / pictures for the rear , you might want to consider swapping the rear shocks for some viking crusades. Just saying .

...took it to the first local car show of the season, and my first with this car, after a day of prep. Entry cars were being parked cheek to jowl in every spot on the club's lot. order my redlines hood struts Wednesday night, February 10th and received Tuesday, February 16, today I installed them, really happy, good quality and easy installation, no need for pop rod

I really enjoy cleaning my factory California Special wheels, you can reach your hand all the way inside barrel to inner rim lip. Even between the caliper and rim barrel is doable.

I coat them with hybrid ceramic spay ever wash. Yes it looks good to see way back there shiny and clean!

Yeah, I spray wax mine too.

Not sure if it’s your hood or your bumper but there is a weird line where they meet. I ordered the hood myself for the GT350. Hoping it’s your bumper.

This spoiler is only on with tape, but I got some Gorilla Glue double sided tape. I am only putting it on until I can find a permanent one in the spring.

Installed the Ford Performance GT Calibration w/ Cold Air Intake and Throttle Body, M-9603-M8B. The extra torque at 2000 RPM makes a huge difference. The car should have come this way from the factory.

Went to install an oil separator... the hood was frozen shut.

Installed Ford Performance hood prop rods. I made a slit in the battery cover to make it easier to temove.

It’s got it’s own garage now that it’s new brother has to sit outside. I did wash it. It’s still filthy. Ahhh Colorado.

Tried to install some extended wheel studs, IRS bushing supports, dowels, and bracing. Ran into just about every problem you can think of.

1) After multiple moves, and years of not needing to work on a car, I was missing a lot of the tools I needed. 3 trips to the hardware store today.
2) Lug nuts were over torqued to hell and back. Somewhere around 400 lb/ft if I had to guess.
3)Rear lower bushing supports do not fit at all. I know they can put up a fight, but these just refused to go in. Can't even get them started.
4)Subframe is way out of whack, and I'm having one hell of a time getting it to move so I can get these bolts back in properly.
5)Front brake caliper bolts feel over torqued and were being a gigantic pain in my ass. One was harder for my impact gun to get loose than the rear subframe bolts.

Now I have to try and get all this shit done and my car back together so I can get an alignment before my first event of the year on march 6th.

Washed my GT, getting it all cleaned after the week of Artic weather. Then in a silent gumbling mode, rode passenger because my wife decided that she wanted to drive. But we corrected the issue after the grocery were loaded in the trunk.
