Well aware that this is totally subjective and will likely rustle some jimmies, but man I feel pretty strongly that the Gen 2 body is just sexier than Gen 3s. I'm not at all feeling the Gen 3 front fascia.

UNRELATED - but my 2015 manual PP1 shifts super clunky in normal, much smoother in Sport+. Not sure why anyone would prefer cruising around in normal TBH.

The 15-17 front end and hood are much more symmetrical and sleek the new ones are more euro and generic looking to me some like them but I prefer the streamlined look of my 16. I wont buy any newer mustang than the one I have.

I shouldn't respond to a thread like this, but back in Dec 2017 when I bought my 2017 I thought the 2018s looked worse. Since then they've grown on me and now I like the update a lot, a tie with the 15-17s. They both look very similar, obviously, but to me the 15-17 looks slightly more muscular, the 18-20 slightly more aggressive. The Bullitt looks the best of all in person.

I’ve had both and like both for different reasons. I like the GT500 front end so much I bought a IKON Motorsports GT500 front bumper for my 18’ GT.

Since the Mach 1 reveal I’m seriously thinking about getting one of those now. :)

Your car looks awesome. Leave it with the GT500 bumper.

I like all of the front looks but don't like the headlights on the '15-'17 and GT350/500. I'm so happy my 2020 was the one I ordered since I think that front design is the most aggressive. I'm not a fan of the Mach 1... hell it is an awesome car, but I think the front is getting a little "soft".

@Ecoboosted I am concidering getting the Ikon Motorsports GT500 front since it looks awesome and it can be done with the good looking headlights!

The best front though is the S550 Shelby Super Snake '18-'19... GOOD LORD that front is good lookin'! I want it so bad but being placed in Denmark the Ikon GT500 front is hard to get... can't imagine how hard the Super Snake front would be to get for me

2015 -2017 old school. Look like Chargers
2018-2020 just cool, forward design
Same car.
'15 thru '20 look identical.

Different look would be like '67 from '77 Corvette or an '04 Mustang to an '05.

Now those are different..............:inspect:

Like how my 19 looks over the 17.
Rear end exhaust looks better. Front end... looks so close to the same to me.

Prefer the look of the '18+...and it's the reason I bought one. Gen 2 is still good looking too.

18+'s definitely look more aggressive. I wouldn't have minded if the 15-17 hood lines would have carried over though. I like that part of it.

2021 Mach is the best of both. They just need to swap the gloss black upper grill for a matte.
