I figured you figure it out, Tom since you knew where he purchased the car. :-)
Knowing that, I still didn't put it together. I was thinking why didn't he put Tob in the quotes?

That's because I didn't want to use anyone's actual name, Tom.

So, how about this one? :-)
Everyone knows him and his name. I dont think thats a secret.

So let's see.... 297

Duh, another item that you'd need a magnifying glass to see.

My number is different every year.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. :-) And here I thought you'd get a grin out of it.
Of course I did. Man, I sure am misunderstood.....

I decided on SV801's in brushed black tinted. You are right, a guy cant own 3 sets of the same shoes.

Hmm.... I wonder what that would look like on a rapid red CFTP?

I already bought the cup 2s and TPMS sensors.

Good call on the wheels and I'll bet they wind up being your favorites.

Roger on the grin and now it's legible even if it's a previous year. :-)
This place wouldn't be the same without you, and Tob for that matter.

On that note, looky at what he sent me.

That was a mighty nice thing to say, Tom, thank you, sincerely.

Now, tell an uneducated old geezer what that way kewel gift is? Brake pad measuring tool?
It wasn't a gift, but instead a purchase. Tob and his wife are responsible for probably the best mod available for the GT350 and GT500. I speak of the caliperfexion brake studs. What you see pictured is one of the sleeves that screw onto the stud so the the caliper slides back away from the rotor and suspends the caliper while you work on the brakes and or rotor.

This was my writeup a long time ago when I installed them onto HR361.

That write-up is right up there with Tob and Jaime, Tom, perfectly explained and now I get it. Most of my "wrenching" days were before monster front brakes so it was never a big issue.

BUT with these chingassos, I can see where these would be a God send. (May have to order a set despite telling myself I would never work on brakes, clutches, or exhausts, again. :-)

And what an INGENIOUS INVENTION, Tob! Just slide it over and then back when you're done. TOO cool!

I hope they pay for "Chuck's car." :-)

This is definitely one of the top inventions, and a must for anyone who tracks their car. Personally I will more than likely never track my car, but I work on my own cars, and I feel this is something that will help anyone. I am glad I have them, and I will forever install them on all of my future mustangs.

If I had an issue that was going to take a long time for a backordered part, I would bring the car back when they get the part in. There is no way id leave my 500 laying around the shop on an indefinite hold.
Good point, I'm going to pick her up tomorrow as she's only 5 minutes away and just wait until they get the part.

Call Ford to get the claim expedited, it worked well for me. I can tell you from experience, there is only 1 supercharger assembly in the country for part left. It’s in Las Vegas.. Might try to see if it’s a problem getting the part, rather than a buy back they might spring for the whole assembly. Just a thought. My experience below

I actually Ford called on Friday. They did expedite the case and are supposed to call me back tomorrow to let me know more info.

If it were me I would try calling https://jokerzperformance.com/

they seem to be in the business of porting blowers, maybe they have an extra actuator. Even tho its's a Ford warranty concern, I would do whatever I could to track one down even if I had to pay for it. Given the current situation we are in, a ford part on backorder with no ETA could be a while.
I'm going to hold off until I hear from the Ford rep who is expediting everything for me. If they say this has a long ETA, then I'll look into getting it elsewhere, thanks for the info!

OOC, what was happening with the car? Does it run at all, but just doesn't get boost? (Certainly if it was easy to relocate, i.e., it's drivable, I'd get it the hell out of there ...)
Yeah, it felt like the car wasn't getting any boost and the RPM's were having a hard time climbing. At one point the RPM's felt like they would get stuck or stutter. The car was also jumping gears sporadically.. hard to describe.
