What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

I installed the rear decklid today. Tomorrow I will install my JL Audio Subwoofer to replace the stock one. I also need to polish exhaust tips.

I finally got my blowfish bracket, the guy I bought it from went with an MRG shifter. Bought the JLT separator from a guy who had it on his 2012 S197. Hope to put them on in the next few days.

yeah, i had second thoughts once i got to my "favorite test road"; thinking what might go wrong. (was having flashbacks of me flipping over my first Mustang - a '69 Boss 302 - when i was 17). my friend (who tracks his cars) only agreed to let me do this once we inspected the car (wheels, tires, leaks, etc.) and he drove if first. i also wore one of his racing helmets. while i enjoyed the thrill of driving that fast and, i made home safely, it will be awhile before i drive that fast again.

Washed my Mustang today, first time washing a car in many moons, used McGuires ultimate quick wax afterwards. Looks nice but now I noticed a few flaws.
Washing and waxing is not one of my favorite activities. Haven’t washed a pickup, what I usually drive, in 27 years. Car washes are for that.

Potential long one here. Yesterday, got weighed in at SGK performance @ Sonoma Raceway. 3638 LBS on a FULL tank. I never run a full tank on-track.

Also did an impromptu Northbay to Berryessa blast today. Met about 500 Harley riders and one friendly CHP officer. Saw the Norcal Shelby group too.

Yesterday: Long-awaited DMV registration document and stickers arrived, so I decided I could finally put my license plate on the new car. "Ceramic" coated all hidden and visible surfaces prior to installation. Car wagged its tail and started to unpack. I guess it has decided to stay a while.
