Every time you adjust camber on a strut type suspension, you will affect toe slightly. If you keep switching back and forth between a street setting and a track setting, you will eventually induce toe which will very quickly kill your tires. Go with -2.0 to -2.5 camber in the front. It will be plenty good for track and not excessively wear your street tires
This. Toe is the key. Running 0.00 toe or darn close to 0.00 will prevent most of the wear associated with track camber.

to clarify, rear camber toe should be OUT by 0.1+deg, right? While front should be IN 0.06deg or less.

edit: s/camber/toe

What? Not even the same tire.

as for camber plates. They’re adjustable at home, but considering how sensitive to the tire wear is to toe settings, you might not want to adjust camber (which affects toe as a side effect). i haven’t gotten the confidence to drive on unknown toe settings for very long.

Front camber: -2.0 to -2.5
Front toe: ZERO

Rear camber: -1.5 to -2.0
Rear toe: 0.16 in? Not very much but a little toe in for stability

No!

You want toe in at the rear. 0.10-0.13 deg per side.

Never run rear toe out unless you want a drift car. 0.10-0.13 toe in per side. Front toe you want zero. For track use only, slight toe out (-0.05-0.10 or so) may be preferred for quicker on-center initial turn in.

Good to know. I'll have to find out what my friend had them set it at after we did my suspension. For some reason I'm thinking it was in the 1.-- range though.

I was also looking into the brake cooling deflectors for my car, Vorschlag makes a larger version that will fit non-PP cars like mine that don't have the control arm mount. However, since my car is not a Performance Pack car, I don't have the belly pan with the vents leading to the air deflectors. Does anyone know if they are needed, and if so, can I run a PP belly pan while keeping my California Special front spoiler which I just installed a few months back. Apparently, from what I read they actually work fairly well for cooling the Brembos, which would be good since I could keep my fog lights and not have to worry about running brake cooing ducts.

PP belly pan only fits with the pp splitter. The wheel well liners also need to be changed or cut for the tunnels to work. Brake deflectors are useless without the belly pan.

What are you guys without PP cars doing for brake cooling, if anything?

I have the Brembos and deflectors, along with the PP belly pan and splitter.

huh. The Ford 'spec' sheet clearly says (+) toe in the rear, ie OUT. I will call my alignment guy in the morning to head off a mistake.

Out is negative, no matter front or rear.
